FOLDED DIPOLES The Folded Dipoles is a high quality range of antennas covering
frequencies from LB (low band) to UHF with a wide beam width and
giving excellent VSWR readings.
The folded Dipoles and booms are made of anodized aluminium alloy
which is totally resistant to corrosion and other harsh environmental
conditions. The Trunking (250 MHz.) and UHF (400 MHz.) antennas
have square ends instead of rounded bends.
The feeder cable used is RG 213 coaxial cable which has a 50 Ω ΩΩ
characteristic impedance and is matched to the antenna giving
maximum performance The cable is attached to the dipole by a 150
ton injection-moulding process giving a completely sealed feeder unit
thus eliminating the possibility of water seepage.
An excellent radiation pattern has been achieved by the rear feeding
of the dipole.
We believe we have the most efficient and cost effective dipole
available manufactured in South Africa at present.
Also available as 2 and 4 stacks .
Mast poles are included and no crossover assembly is needed as all
dipoles have their own aluminium die-casted bracket and bolts.

In applications where an increase in corrosion resistance is required or

in mines where aluminium can not be used, 304- stainless steel is
available on demand.

Please use the suffix S/S when ordering stainless steel dipoles.

N.B. DIPOLE ANTENNAS ARE SUPPLIED WITH MOUNTING HARDWARE, AND ALSO
AVAILABLE IN STAINLESS STEEL ON REQUEST .
