TheDirector,EnterpriseArchitecturedesigns,developsandexecutesonalongrangetechnologyarchitecturalroadmaptoanticipatefuturebusinessneedsandmaximizelongterm
technologyinvestments.TheDirectordeliversinnovativearchitecturalsolutionsforBECU,partneringwithseniorleadersacrosstheInformationTechnologytoestablishandmaintain
architecturestandardsandsolutionswhichaligntotheBECUsstrategicgoals.TheDirectorwillmanageateamofarchitects,directingdaytodayworkanddevelopingsolution
architecturethatsupportsbusinessstrategy.TheDirectorwillleadtheanalysisofnewandemergingtechnologiesandpartnerwithseniorleaderstoinvestigatestrategicopportunities.

Inthisjob,youwill:
PerformallresponsibilitiesinaccordancewithBECUCompetenciesandInformationProtectionrequirements.
CreateandmaintaintheorganizationsITarchitectureprogramincludingITArchitecturalGovernanceandStandards.Providesguidance,mentorshipandtechnicalexpertiseto
applicationdevelopmentleadsandarchitectsacrossmultipleprojects.
Provideongoingcoaching,mentoringandtrainingtodevelopandencourageemployeeperformance.Meetwithstaffonatimelybasisforthepurposeofconductingperformance
evaluations,usingBECUcompetenciesasperformancemeasures.
Mentortechnicalteammembersanddirectthedaytodayworkofcontingenttechnicalstaff.Effectivelyarticulatehowtheteamcanrealizebusinessvaluethroughtechnology.
Developandmaintainacomprehensivetechnicalblueprintoftheteam'sservices,creatingsolutionoptionsthatalignITserviceswithbusinesssponsor'smissions,goalsandobjectives
withconsiderationofbothtechnicalandnontechnicalimplicationsandtradeoffs.
Reviewandrecommendselectionofthirdpartysoftwareplatforms.
Overseeimplementationofsolutionarchitecturebyproducingblueprintsthatguidethedevelopmentandimplementationofbusinesssolutionsacrossmultipleprojects,providing
directiontotechnicalteamsduringprojectdeliveryandensuringimplementationssupporttechnologyandbusinessroadmaps.
Developandmaintainthetechnologyroadmapforassignedarea,collaboratingwithbusinessandITpartnerstoensurethattheroadmapcreatesbusinessvaluewithtechnicallysound
solutionsandseekingoutopportunitiestoapplytechnicalinnovationstocustomerneeds.
Monitorthebusinesscapabilitylandscapetoidentifyopportunitiesforgreaterlongtermbusinessvalue.
Monitortheindustrysolutionlandscapetotrackthedevelopmentofavailablesolutions,andidentifyopportunitiesforadaptingtheteam'ssolutionarchitecture.
ProvideongoingfeedbacktoEnterpriseArchitectureteamtoensuretheframeworkremainsrelevantanduseful.
Performadditionaldutiesasassigned.
Qualifications:
ProficientverbalandwrittenskillstoeffectivelycommunicateintheEnglishlanguage.
Excellentplanningskillsinbothtacticalandstrategicplanning.
Effectiveleadershipandnegotiationskillsrequired.
Fulltimehoursrequired,withadditionalhoursasnecessary.
BachelorsdegreeinBusinessAdministration,ComputerScienceorrelatedfieldrequired.Advanceddegreepreferred.
Minimumtenyearsofexperienceinsystemsarchitecture,solutiondesignandsolutionimplementation.
Minimumeightyearsofexperienceinaprojectleadrole,eithermanagingoradvisingsmalltomediumprojectteams.Directexperiencesupervisingpeoplepreferred.
Experienceinprocessimprovementandfacilitationpreferred.
ExperienceinLEANprinciplesorPMPcertificationpreferred.
