AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE FRANCHISE OF VILLA
TAMBANILLO TERMINAL, LA PAZ TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A
PUBLIC UTILITY TERMINAL AT BRGY. TICUD, LA PAZ, ILOILO CITY
FOR A PERIOD OF TWENTY (20) YEARS

WHEREAS, pursuant to Regulation Ordinance No. 2005-069, the City Government of Iloilo,
through the Sangguniang Panlungsod, has granted Villa Tambanillo Terminal, La Paz to operate and
maintain a public utility terminal at Barangay Ticud, La Paz, Iloilo City for a period often (10) years.
WHEREAS, the owner and management of the said boundary terminal has applied for an
extension of its franchise granted by the City Government which has already expired.
WHEREAS, the applicants has sufficiently complied with the requirements and conditions set
forth in Regulation Ordinance No. 2005-069;
WHEREAS, the Committee on Transportation, after a committee/public hearing was
conducted, has favorably recommended for the approval of the ordinance extending the applicant's
franchise.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Iloilo,

that:
Section 1. - The non-exclusive franchise granted to Villa Tambanillo Terminal, La Paz to
operate and maintain a public utility vehicle at Barangay Ticud, La Paz, Iloilo City for a period of
twenty (20) years.
Section 2. - The terms and conditions set forth in Regulation Ordinance No. 2005-069 shall
remain effective, applicable and reiterated.
Section 3. - The provisions of the comprehensive perimeter boundary ordinance shall be
strictly and faithfully enforced by the terminal.
Section 4. - The grantee is hereby granted a grace period of two (2) years from approval
hereof to comply with the requirements of Regulation Ordinance 2005-069 and other existing and
applicable laws, otherwise this franchise shall be rescinded and declared inoperative.
Section 5. - If any provision of this Ordinance is held invalid by a competent court, the
remained provision shall not be affected thereby.
Section 6. - The grantee of this franchise shall cause this Ordinance to be published once in a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of Iloilo and this Ordinance shall take effect after ten ( 10)
days from publication date.
