WHAT DOES THE USER MANUAL COVER?


This user manual provides a high-level overview of the eRezeki Digital Work Portal including how to search, select
and complete tasks and how to qualify for tasks that require specialized restrictions. The primary people who can
benefit from this guide are workers on all levels of the eRezeki Digital Work Force.

USER INTERFACE
The eRezeki Digital Work Portal user interface is simple and easy to use. This section describes the various
global functions you will encounter throughout the application.

Useful Tip

Learn more about the eRezeki Digital Work Portal User Interface
and the User Dashboard, which is your home base when
entering the application.

Tasks
Tasks are the main mechanism within the eRezeki Digital Work Portal. Human-based tasks called HITs (Human
Interactive Tasks) are presented in the Tasks area of the application and are grouped by categories holding similar
tasks. For information on selecting and working with tasks, see Working on Tasks.
You can also monitor tasks that you have accepted and submitted via the User Dashboard.

Worker Qualifications
Worker Qualifications control which tasks are available to you, and what tasks could become available to you once
you obtain the correct qualifications. In some instances you have the ability complete a test to qualify to work on
certain tasks. For more information, see Qualifications.

Messages
Messages pertaining to your work and the various tasks available can be found in the Messages section of the
application.

My Teams
eRezeki Digital Work Portals My Teams feature allow you to monitor teams that you are associated with. Teams
groups workers into virtual units with distinct qualifications that allow certain types of tasks to be assigned to a
specialized team.

ACCESSING EREZEKI DIGITAL WORK PORTAL


To access the application, enter eRezeki.my into your browser to arrive at the eRezeki home page. Follow the links
to either register or log in to the eRezeki Digital Work Portal:

REGISTERING AND CREATING YOUR USER PROFILE


Before using the eRezeki Digital Work Portal, you must register and create a user profile. The Log In and Register
options are accessible through eRezeki.my.
1. Click on the Register-button on the eRezeki.my home page.

2. Fill in each registration field as follows:

Enter a valid email address where you receive email.

Full Name*

Enter your full name including your fathers name or family


name.

Short Name*

Enter your preferred informal name.

MyKAD*

Enter your MyKAD as 12 numbers without dashes (-).

Password*

Enter a password.

Repeat password*

Re-enter the password to confirm proper password entry.

Monthly Household
Income*

Select the option that best descibes your situation.

Your eRezeki Center*

Select your closest eRezeki Center.

Useful Tip
Mandatory fields that are denoted with an asterisk* are
displayed directly following the field name. You must complete
all mandatory fields before creating your account.

LOGGING IN TO THE EREZEKI DIGITAL WORK PORTAL


The page to login to the eRezeki Digital Work Portal is accessible through eRezeki.my.

1. Click on the Login-Button on the eRezeki.my home page.


The Email and Password fields are displayed:

2. Enter the Email address associated with your user profile account into the Email field.

Enter the password associated with your user profile into the Password field.
As an option, you can click the checkbox next to Remember me on this computer, if you would like to
keep yourself logged into eRezeki Digital Work Portal from the current system you are using.

directly below the entry fields.

Once you are authenticated, youre presented with the User Dashboard which is your starting point
when entering the application. The User Dashboard is where you view information about your active
tasks, monitor your messages and view statistics about the tasks you have worked on.

IF YOU FORGET YOUR PASSWORD


Follow these steps if you have forgotten your password:
1. Click Forgot Password?, if you have forgotten your password.

2. Enter your email address and click Submit Address.


An email is sent to the email address listed.
3. Click the link within the received email.
You are presented with the Reset Password dialog box.
4. Enter a new password.
5. Re-enter the new password to confirm.

LOGGING OUT
1. Click your Username on the User Profile Menu. This menu is located on the upper right portion of the
screen:

This topic discusses the various user interface features and functions youll find throughout the application.

Main Menu
The main menu is located at the top of the application and is always accessible throughout your navigation of the
eRezeki Digital Work Portal:

On the right side of the menu youll find the User Profile Menu used to access user profile information and the log
out function. Clicking the eRezeki logo located on the left side of the main menu will redirect you to the eRezeki.my
home page.

User Profile Menu


The User Profile menu provides access to your profile information and is located at the upper-right portion of the
screen as shown below:

Search
The Search function allows you to locate all record types within the eRezeki Digital Work Portal for the following
data types:

Tasks

Qualifications

This function is designed to search the entire application based on the text string entered.

Useful Tip

The Search function is not case-sensitive.

Filter Tool Bar


The Filter Tool Bar is available on many of the screens within the eRezeki Digital Work Portal, and is designed to aid
you in filtering the data that is displayed for that section or table. Filters available for this tool bar are located to the
right of the title as shown below:

The functions available within the Function Tool bar are dependent upon each specific screen within the
application and will be discussed in detail within that screens related topic within this help system.

Record Navigation Controls


Any screen within the eRezeki Digital Work Portal that displays multiple records will also include page navigation
controls located below the last visible row of record data as shown below:

Page navigation controls allow you to perform the following functions for each data set:

Items per page

Controls the amount of data records displayed on a given page.

Next #

Loads the next group of records based on the number entered for Items per page.

ACCESSING YOUR USER PROFILE


The User Profile menu provides a way to access your user profile information. It also provides a way to log out of
the eRezeki Digital Work Portal.

Access to your user profile is available by selecting My Profile from the User Profile Menu

Click this checkbox if you wish to allow work providers to see


your profile.

Receive email
notifications

Click this checkbox if you wish to receive email


notifications. Notifications are often sent out to alert
workers of available tasks.

USER DASHBOARD
The User Dashboard provides a summary of the significant events associated with your user profile and by
default is the first screen displayed when logging in to the eRezeki Digital Work Portal:

Active Tasks
The Active Tasks section displays the tasks that you are currently working on. They are tasks that youve accepted
and have not submitted yet and can be revisited (until they expire). You can keep track of active tasks by using the
Time left field which is dynamically calculated based on the expiration time set for the task.
To revisit the task, click the task name under the Task column.

Messages
The eRezeki Digital Work Portal enables messaged communication so that inquiries can be answered or
notification about tasks can be made.
You can filter messages so that all messages are visible or only the messages that have not been read are visible.
To set or change the way in which messages are filtered, click the appropriate filter button (All messages, Unread
only).

Statistics
The eRezeki Digital Work Portal accumulates statistics based on the tasks you have accepted and submitted. The
User Dashboard also lists the total amount of hours worked.
You can filter your statistics based on the time period that best suits your needs. To set or change the way in your
statistical data is filtered, click the appropriate filter button (All, Last 24 hours, Last week, last 30 days, Past month).

Total Earnings
Approved Tasks

The amount of earnings you have obtained to date.

Bonuses

The amount of bonus funds you have obtained to date.

Total Payment

The total amount of payments made to you (payments made for Approved Tasks
plus Bonuses).
Total Hours Worked

Total Hours
Worked

The total hours worked on all tasks.

Tasks Accepted

The total amount of tasks you have accepted.

Tasks Submitted

The total amount of tasks you have submitted.

Tasks Returned

Tasks rejected or aborted by the worker.

Tasks Abandoned

The total amount of tasks you have accepted but have not completed prior to
the task expiration time.
Tasks Total (for Tasks you have submitted)

Tasks Submitted

Tasks Approved

The total amount of tasks you have accepted and have submitted answers
for.
The total amount of tasks submitted that have been approved.

Tasks Rejected

The total amount of tasks submitted that have not been accepted. Answers
submitted for a particular task may be rejected if they are associated with the
minority (incorrect) consensus.

Tasks Pending

The total amount of tasks you have submitted but have not been processed.
In certain cases, submitted tasks may be delayed in order to obtain a
majority-based consensus leading to the correct answer.

TASKS
The Tasks area is where you select the tasks you would like to work on. Clicking on Tasks via the Main Menu
displays the Select Category screen as shown below:

Task Categories and Sub-Categories


Tasks are organized by Task Categories set up by the administrator. They serve as a grouping element to group
similar tasks. Task Sub-Categories further organize tasks making it easier to find tasks you prefer to work on.
Qualifications (sets of permissions) assigned to you are represented by the Task Count shown alongside both of
these groupings. The Task Count shows the amount of tasks in that category that are available for you to work on.
An example of available categories is shown below:

Searching for Tasks


You can search for tasks using the Search function. An example search is performed in the illustration below:

WORKING ON TASKS
The Tasks list is where you select the task based on the category you selected via the Tasks section. Once a
category is selected, you will be presented with all tasks within that category:

You can expand the summary information for each task individually (by clicking the arrow to the left of the task
title), or expand this information for all tasks on the list by clicking Expand all shown at the top of the list.
Task summary information includes:

Changing the Task Sort Order


You can change the sort order of the tasks displayed on the TASKS screen by accessing the Order by dropdown menu shown at the top right of the Tasks screen.

The filters available for selection are as follows:

creation date (soonest first)


creation date (latest first)
tasks available (fewest first)
tasks available (most first)
reward (least first)
reward (most first)
expiration date (soonest first)
expiration date (latest first)
title (A - Z)
title (Z - A)
time allotted (least first)
time allotted (most first)

Opening the Task


To open the task to work on:
1. Click View to view the task and begin working on it. The task window opens:


2. Click Accept to work on the task.

Click the Automatically accept the next task checkbox,


to accept all tasks and have them load automatically
after you submit your answer.

Optional Task Feedback Message


If you have any questions about the task, you can click the
Feedback icon on the right-side of the task screen prior to
submitting the task. Upon clicking Feedback you will see the
following message dialog box:

Enter your Name and informational message and click SEND.

Complete the task and click Submit.

QUALIFICATIONS
The Qualifications area of eRezeki Digital Work Portal is where you view all available qualifications in the system,
including:

the qualifications you have achieved that are currently associated with your user profile.

the qualifications available for you to obtain.

These qualifications are used to qualify you to do work associated with tasks. In some instances youre required
to test in order to qualify to work on certain tasks. You can request certain qualifications displayed by clicking the
Request it link associated with the qualification record.
To access this screen, click Qualifications from the Main Menu:

Description

Name

The name of the qualification. Name information is


searchable via the search function.

Keywords

A list of terms used by the search mechanism that


will help workers find the qualification when performing a search.

Author

The creator of the qualification.

Score

The score associated with the qualification.

You can expand the summary information for each qualification individually (by clicking the arrow to the left of
the qualification title) or expand this information for all records on the list by clicking on the arrow to the left of the
Name column header. Qualification summary information includes:

Description a description of the qualification.

Auto granted displays whether the qualification is automatically granted when requested.

Score displays the score associated with the qualification.

Useful Tip

Records per page control


At the bottom of the screen you will see a series of page controls that allow you to
page through records as well as configure the number of records displayed on a
given page. For more information see, Record Navigation Controls.

FILTERING THE QUALIFICATION VIEW


To filter the qualifications displayed, select the appropriate option on the Filter Tool Bar :

All shows all qualifications.

My shows only the qualifications currently assigned to you.

Available shows the qualifications that you can obtain to work

Searching for Qualifications


eRezeki Digital Work Portal provides the Search function that allows you to locate qualifications in the system.

Useful Tip

When searching for qualifications, the records displayed will be based on the table
filter (My, All, Available) selected.

MESSAGES
The Messages area is where you manage incoming and outgoing messages. To access this screen, select
Messages via the Main Menu:

You can filter messages by clicking the appropriate option located on the top right of the screens Filter Tool Bar:

All Messages displays all messages you have received.

Unread only displays only messages that have not been opened.

At the bottom of the screen you will see a page control where you can configure the number of records
displayed on a given page. For more information see, Record Navigation Controls.

Useful Tip

Feedback Messages
When working on tasks, you can initiate communication between you and the task
presenter via the feedback function found within the task layout. See Working on Tasks
for more information.

OPENING AND RESPONDING TO MESSAGES


To open/view an email:
1. Click on the email subject line.

2. Perform one of the following tasks:


Selecting Close returns you to the main Messages screen.
Click Mark as read, to change the message status to read (subject line highlighted in grey),
You are returned to the main Messages screen.
Click Reply to respond to the email:

3. Enter your response and perform one of the following actions:


Click Discard to delete any text entered into the response area of the message and close the entry
text box field.
Select Close to return to the main Messages screen.
Click Submit to send the email.

MY TEAMS
The My Teams area is where you can see which teams you are a member of. To access this screen, select My
Team via the Main Menu:

At the bottom of the screen you will see a series of page controls that allow you to page through records as well
as configure the number of records displayed on a given page. For more information see, Record
Navigation Controls.
