T : Class, today I need you all to identify the types of vegetables and fruits at
home.
K : Yes, teacher.
When kid reach home, he/she walk into kitchen.
K : Mum, today teacher want us to complete a task about identify the types of
vegetables and fruits. What is this mum?
M : Oh, this is cucumber.
K : Are you sure, Mum?
M : Yes, I confirm and this is peach.
K : Oh I see. How about these?
M : Emm This is potato,tomato,cabbage,durian. You have remembered?
K : Mum, can you repeat please?
M : This is cu-cum-ber,peach,po-ta-to,to-ma-to,cabbage,du-ri-an.
K : Thank you mum. I had remembered.
Next morning, during class.
T : Student, did you completed your task that I gave yesterday?
K : Yes, teacher.
T : Now, can you list out the vegetables and fruits that you had learned at home.
K : Teacher, I know about cu-cum-ber,peach,po-ta-to,to-mato,cabbage,du-ri-an.
T : Oh no, your pronunciation is wrong. Let me tell you. It should be
cucumber,peach,potato,tomato,cabbage,durian.

Teacher : Cheng
Chong : The very first thing you have to do is to read more. Read newspapers,
books and magazines. There is no other way that is more effective than reading.
There are no short-cuts to mastering the English Language. You have to read more
and you have to do it for some time before you can see the results.
Cheng : Parents should teach their children English at home. The most important
thing you must give your children lots of encouragement and praise. Your child will
pick up on your enthusiasm for the language. Dont worry if your child doesnt start
speaking English immediately. They will need a certain amount of time to absorb the
language. Be patient, and they will begin to speak English in their own time
Chong : As a teacher, we must improve our English by avoiding form using broken
English meanwhile using interesting and creative teaching skills in class. Teacher
can give some activities such as group discussion to student and helps students to
speak English in group. If you want to show a certain mistake to a student, instead of
saying "Oh! this is not correct, ..." or "You made a mistake, ..." you'd better say
"Maybe you should change this or that ..." or "Why don't you use ...".
