NARRATIVE REPORT

Mrs. Mary Ann Villavicencio is our cooperating teacher for this day Jan. 19,
2016. Her class was grade 8 section 7. Maam Villavicencio introduced us to her
students, they greeted us politely and we greeted them politely too. We prayed and
after the prayer the students reviewed their notes because they have an exam.
Noise were everywhere each students have their own way to review some were
reading it out loud, and some students prefered to chit chat with their seatmates.
After awhile the exam has started. Some heads of the students are like rubber
twisting left and right. Seeking for answers from each others paper and am proud of
some students that they never seek answer to anyone. Finally their exam was done
and its time to them to check their papers. Noises were everywhere asking if the
answers are really right. Right after that bell rang, another bunch of students will be
observed by us. We went with Maam Villavicencio to her next class with the SPA-8.
Their room was located at SPA building right next to admin building. As we got there
students were so noisy. Their eyes were glued to us like we are strangers to them.
Again Maam Villavicencio introduced us.The same as the other section, prayer &
greetings started the class. The Spa-8 watched the Movie by which they made by
themselves four groups were filming their movies on that day. We enjoyed watching
them, while other students were not paying attentions, You could hear negative &
positive praises from their classmates. The film showing was exactly done when the
bell rang. This time 3rd. period is the vacant period of Maam Villavicencio, we
stayed in the Filipino office about an hour then after that we headed back to our
observation with grade 8-14.The scene was the same as grade 8-7 but this section
are noisiest, more students are seeking papers, cheating. After those exams &
checking, we asked Maam Villavicencio to sign our DTRS and some papers. We
said thank you to her and we bid goodbye.

On this date Mrs. Ruth Caguing is our cooperating teacher. We went to LNHS
by 1:30p.m, because Maam Caguing doesnt have class on first period. We just
stayed at the front of her room. After awhile Maam Caguing arrived. We greeted her
and we said to her that we are going to observe in her class. She let us in and
introduced us to her students. Her 2 nd period class was Grade 9 section 6 with 19
boys plus 18 girls and a total of 37 students. We cant deny that the students are
noisy, making their footsteps from one corner until to the other corner of the
classroom. Maam Caguing announced that she will be going to give a long test to
her students, as what they agreed last meeting so each students review their notes.
Minutes passed and the long test started. Their test was about the THE LIFE OF
RIZAL and characters of NOLI ME TANGERE. Maam Caguing was very strict when
it comes to looking of each others paper, he told the student in front of us to
transfer in the front row seats then she continue her test. Minute passed long test
was done already. They dont have enough time to check so Maam Caguing just
discussed to them their reports and the next lesson Ang Pagtitipon in Noli Me
Tangere. Then the bell rung. Maam Caguings next students are Grade 9 section 1,
same situation as 9-6 long test, but then this section is more quite, less seeking of
papers and less talk. There are 30 girls and 24 boy with a total of 54. After that they
discussed also the Ang Pagtitipon. The last class of Maam Caguing is Grade 9
section 2 with 17 boys and 22 gurls, 40 students all in all. The scene was the same,
after their long test they discussed the group report about Noli Me Tangere: Ang

Pagtitipon. Also, Maam Caguing discussed their grading system in reporting. Our
observation went well after the time of last period we let Maam Caguing to sign our
DTRs we said thank you to her and goodbye.

January 19, 2016

Our cooperating teacher for this day was Mrs. Mary Ann Villavecencio. Her 1 st
period class was with the grade 8 section 7. We were introduced first and the
students greeted us politely with warm smiles. Then a prayer followed and the
checking of attendance. There are some students who came in late, with untidy
uniforms and messy hairs. Mrs. Villavecencio called for their attentions and asked
them the reason why theyre late. After that, she instructed the students to review
their notes and read their books for there will be an exam afterwards; she gave
them 10 minutes to do so. We could see that there are some students who didnt
mind the instruction and just kept on doing whatever theyre doing, like texting,
having chit chat with their friends, playing with their seatmates, cutting their nails,
braiding their hairs, putting on earphones and listens to the music on their phones
etc. While others immediately grabbed their notes and books and started studying.
After 10 minutes, the exam started. As Maam Villavecencio read the questions in
the front, we could see the students at the back row, discussing the answers with
each other, others are looking at the papers of their seatmate while the others who
have studied seemed to have no trouble in answering at all. After the exam, they
checked their papers, using the clockwise routine. That was the time when they all
started the noise and mess, the students were very eager and excited to know the
answers and find out their scores. Then the bell rang and the students bid goodbye
to us all.
The next class was with the SPA-8. Their room was located at the SPA (Special
Program for the Arts) Building, right next to the Admin Building. Noise, loud arguing
and shoutings were present as we arrived at the front of their room. We were also
introduced to them and they welcomed us politely. The activity that took place was

the FILM SHOWING of their outputs, Four groups filmed their movies that day.
Different comments and opinions of their classmates were to be heard, positive and
negative ones. The film showing lasted for about an hour and was done as the bell
rang for the next period. The students fixed the room before they left and bid
goodbye to us all.
We stayed at the FILIINO TEACHERS OFFICE, for the 3 rd period was a
vacant time of Maam Villavecencio. The last class that we observed was with the
grade 8 section 14, the scene was as the same as grade 8-7 but this section is the
noisies I think, many students are seeking papers and cheating. After the class was
done, we asked Maam Villavicencio to sign our DTRS and some papers. We said
thank you to her and we bid goodbye.

January 19,2016
We observed the 8-7 section which Mrs. Marry Ann Villavecencio was
handling. Some students were noisy but some who were just quietly sitting on their
chair and reviewing their notes. When the exam get started, some students were
asking paper from their classmates. After the exam, they watched the movie trailer
of each groups movie. While they were watching they were teasing each other.
The next section was the SPA-8. Maam Villavicencio let them watched the full
movie of their project. They were so noisy while watching the movie.
The last section was 8-4 Maam Villavicencio gave them an exam same as what
she gave to the 8-7.

On the second period we entered to the class of Mrs. Ruth Caguing.The Grade
9-6 class was composed of 19 boys and 16 girls. Before the class started the

students were noisy, shouting to each other and talking like their is no other people
out there. First Mrs. Caguing gave them a long quiz about the characters of Noli Me
Tangere and the life of Jose Rizal. While they were taking the exam others were
obviously copying the answers of their classmates. There were some who obviously
burned their candle that night for the long quiz. After the exam Mrs. Caguing
discussed the first chapter of Noli Me Tangere.
The next class is the 9-1. The 9-1 students are consist of 30 girls and 24
boys. While the class disscussion has not yet started, I was little bit disappointed to
them because Mrs. Caguing had a visitors and they are talking to each other like
theres no teacher. But when the exam got started the noisy students became quiet
and serious in taking the exam. The exam was the same which Mrs. Caguing gave
to the 9-6.
The last section is 9-2. After they entered the room Mrs.Caguing start the class
immediately and gave the exam. The students were quietly taking the exam.

On this date Mrs. Ruth Caguing was our cooperating teacher. We entered to
the class of Mrs. Ruth Caguing during the second period. The grade 9-6 is composed
of 19 boys and 16 girls.We were introduced right after the prayer.
As the class started, we cant deny that the students were noisy, making their
footsteps from one corner until to the other corner of the classroom. Mrs. Caguing
gave them an exam. While they were taking the exam others were obviously asking
paper from others and also there were some who obviously burned their candle that
night for the long quiz.
After the exam Mrs. Caguing discussed the first chapter of Noli Me Tangere.
Then the bell rang.

the grade 9-6, they had a long test, but then this section is quite and behave. There
are 30 girls and 24 boy with a total of 54. After that they discussed also the Ang

The last class of Maam Caguing is Grade 9 section 2 with 17 boys and 22
girls,a total of 40 students. The scene was the same, after their long test they
discussed the group reported about Noli Me Tangere: Ang Pagtitipon. Also, Maam
Caguing discussed their grading system in reporting. Our observation went well
after the time of last period. We let Maam Caguing signed our DTRs we said thank
you and goodbye to her.
