With the details listed above, we would like to invite you to our annual Nisa Nasheed
Extravaganza(NISE 2016) on the date stated above.

2. All rules and regulation for the competitions enclosed in this info pack along with this
letter.
3. All competitions will cost 1 per person.

4. On the day of the event, you are allowed to open a stall with 20 fees per stall and 10
for cleanliness deposit.

5. You will have to purchase an entrance ticket to attend the event. However, the entrance
fee is FREE if you participated in the Nasheed competition. You can purchase the entrance
ticket via online and on-door but the prices are slightly different. The prices are as follow:

RULES AND REGULATIONS

POSTER COMPETITION (Individual, 1 per person)

You must be studying in the UK in the year 2016.

Open for all Malaysian, Bruneians and Indonesians only.
Both male and female can take part in this competition.
The winning poster will be the official poster of NISE16 and will be used during event and on any
NISE16 social media platform.
The dateline for poster competition entry is on 25 January 2016.
Entry must contain the following items:
Theme title: The Voyage; Our Ultimate Journey
Primary Colours : Blue and Green (any shades)
Tagline: You can add you own tagline (optional)

PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION (Individual, 1 per person)

You must be studying in the UK in the year 2016.

Open for all Malaysian, Bruneians and Indonesians only.
Both male and female can take part in this competition.
Participants are allowed to use computer software to edit the photos.
No restriction with regards to the theme and photo format.
Participants may include any catchphrase, versus from Al-Quran or Hadith.
Entry is not limited to one photo per person.
Deadline for photo submission will be on 25th January 2016

NASHEED COMPETITION (Individual / Team , 1 per person)

You must be studying in the UK in the year 2016.

Open for all Malaysian, Bruneians and Indonesians only.
Only females are allowed to participate.
The song choice must portray NISE 2016 theme, i.e. The Voyage: Our Ultimate
Journey.
Min of 1 person and max of 6 person per team including teams manager.
Musical instrument would be provided at a fee upon request and depending on
availability. Musical instruments that can be provided are guitar, keyboard and
tambourine which will cost 5 each. Please email niseisnice@gmail.com for
bookings.
Dress codes must be abide by the Sharia Law i.e. cover your aurat
The performance must not exceed 7 minutes.
Competitors may sing more than one song.
Each team must send any multimedia presentation that will be used during the
performance to allow us to check the compatibility with our computer.(please send
the video to us before the event day at niseisnice@gmail.com ( REF: NS One of
group members full name ).
Pictures of the venue will be emailed to you upon request.

Both male and female can take part in this competition.
Story must be related to NISE2016s theme i.e. The Voyage: Out Ultimate Journey. (
you may use this as the title of your story )
Word limit for the story is 2000 words only.
Language allowed: Malay or English only ( no mixed language is allowed )
Format of submission: PDF document only (please convert the Microsoft Words
document to PDF)
The dateline for this competition is 31 January 2016.
The entries will be judged by a renowned Malaysian author who has won plenty of
prizes in literature.
The entry must be original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any
other party.

KHAT COMPETITION (Individual, 1 per person)

You must be studying in the UK in the year 2016.

Open for all Malaysian, Bruneians and Indonesians only.
Both male and female can take part in this competition.
You are allowed to send any types of khat i.e. Khat Kufi, Khat Thuluth, Khat Riqah and Khat
Nasakh.
Each entry must be written on an A3 paper. All entries must be handwritten. For Khat Kufi, you
may use a computer if you want. You may also use any colour ( preferred colour theme: shades
of blue and white ) to decorate your khat but you have to use only one colour for the khat itself.
Be creative !

You must be studying in the UK in the year 2016.

Open for all Malaysian, Bruneians and Indonesians only.
Only females are allowed to compete.
Please fill up a registration form on our Facebook page.
Contestants must completely cover their aurat.
The competition will be held on the day of the event. Please check the time competition will
be held.
Dress according to the theme color of the event. ( Any shades of blue and green )
You will have to present your outfit on a runaway during the event to the audience and the
judges.
If you made it to Top 3, you will be asked one question each.
