3. The first Contemplatives in this Diocese are finally arriving in November 2016
and they are called The Sacramentines. All of them are blind sisters. Let us prepare
ourselves as a Diocese in prayer to receive these Blind Sisters as gifts to our Local
Church. Let us devote one month of prayer in welcome for them, the First
Contemplatives in our Diocese, from October 10 to November 10, 2016. May their
coming open our awareness that even the specially abled persons, sometimes known
also as Persons with disabilities, although with great difficulty, are also called to the
Priesthood and to Consecrated Life. It is my hope that those with means in our
Diocese will support our one and only Contemplatives in the Diocese with their needs
for their living at their Convent at #8 Beethoven St., Ideal Subdivision, Fairview,
Quezon City.
Given in the Chancery in Fairview, Quezon City, 8 September 2016.
