2. Download Software
Log on to Bluebird Service Web Page (http://ks.bluebird.co.kr) and download suitable
product OS for Windows Mobile from Download Menu.
Search for 150, 170, 1300,

Select DOWNLOAD Menu
Select OS IMAGE
5000, 6000 or 7000

Using SD Card
1. Unzip the files.
Copy and paste the all binary files (BL.bin / IPL.bin / KERNEL.bin / ULDR.bin) and suitable
ProgramStore folder to root directory in SD Card
There is MOBM.bin instead of BL.bin for PXA320 806MHz CPU.
(If downloaded file <ProgramStore folder> have different name by contrast with original
name, Please try to match the folder name to original name.)
BIP-1300: SD Card,
BIP-150R, BIP-5000, 5000Black: Mini SD Card,
BIP-6000, BIP-7000, BM-170: Micro SD Card

If you download binary files and ProgramStore file from web site in each, Create new
ProgramStore folder in SD Card then copy and paste downloaded files to new folder.

2. SD Card
If the Card is Mini or Micro SD Card, Pull out Mini or Micro SD Card form SD Card Adapter.

4. Upload to Device (On ULDR Mode)
Select 5 Download All by SDCard
Select Yes
Select Yes and ProgramStore Size

When its done, the device will be hard reset automatically

5. Hard Reset & Finish

When upload is done, device will make hard reset automatically.

Using USB Cable

NOTICE: Please charge the device while upgrading OS image.
1. Unzip the files.

Unzip the all binary (BL.bin / IPL.bin / KERNEL.bin / ULDR.bin) files and suitable
ProgramStore folder.
(If downloaded file <ProgramStore folder> have different name by contrast with original
name, Please try to match the folder name to original name.)

2. Connection Setting
Connect PDA to PC with USB cable
Start ActiveSync program (It may provided by BBS with CD)
NEED Active Sync program? Go on following web site and download it.

Go to Connection Settings
Uncheck the blank for Allow USB connections

USB Device Open Failed!! Check USB Cable & ActiveSync!!,
Go on Bluebird Service Page and download USB Driver at Download Menu
Download USB_Driver_Bluebird file

Update USB driver at Device Management from PC.
Select SDK
Select ETC
Select DOWNLOAD menu

Download this file
Unzip downloaded file(USB_Driver _Bluebird) after download it.

* How to update USB driver

You can see Found New Hardware Wizard window, when you turn on the device with
connecting PC via USB cable.
Hardware Update will start.

Select Install from a list or Specific Location (Advanced) and NEXT

Check Include this location in the search
(Uncheck Search removable media, if it is checked.)
Click Browse to search downloaded file (USB_Driver _Bluebird)
Find USB_Driver _Bluebird file and click and OK
Click Continue Anyway.

USB DRIVER update will start and Click Finish.
Then, you can find Windows CE USB Devices on the Device Manager.

Select Format FlashDsk and Yes at ULDR Mode

4. How to Upload
Execute the BBUSBDownloadULDR Tool and Select Add image on PC.
Download BBUSBDownloadULDR Tool form Blue Bird Service Page.
Select DOWNLOAD
Search for Upgrade OS
Select DOWNLOAD menu

Add all binary files (BL.bin / IPL.bin / KERNEL.bin / ULDR.bin)
Select (check) only on file at a time and start
Download status bar will show up. When its done (100%),
Go back to main menu automatically.

5. Setting
Go to Connection Settings
Check the blank for Allow USB connections
Connect PC and PDA with USB cable.
