national partner to license
and adapt its proven
model for improving
education and life
outcomes for youth from
low-income communities.
The Wooden Floor has
been achieving dramatic
results: since 2005, 100%
of their participants have
graduated from high
school on time and have
gone on to pursue higher
education.

CityDance DREAMs Theory of Change places dance training and education

at its core, integrating academic and family services that support and
address the needs of the whole child. In an environment where children feel
emotionally and physically safe, form positive long-term relationships, are
exposed to new opportunities, and are met with high expectations, our
students graduate from high school prepared to pursue their full potential.

of The CityDance School
& Conservatory based in
North Bethesda, MD. Its
innovative, comprehensive
and rigorous dance training curriculum integrates
ballet, contemporary
and world dance forms
preparing youth for professional careers. At the
cornerstone of its success
is its world-class faculty
and partnerships with
professional dance artists
and companies including
partner, Dance Theatre
of Harlem.
