Distinguished guests, our beloved Principal, Recognition Day of the !
Ladies and gentlemen, Recognition Day is the culmination of all hard work and a year of study. I consider it to be the
‘most important date in our academic calendar for itis the time when our schoo!’s faculty and staff can gather with the
students and their parents to celebrate and recognize our achievements.
Address the school
‘Traditionally, Recognition Day is an event reserved:o recognize the perseverance and excellence of the select group of
students who made the cut. However, we must not forget that it takes two to tango. For students will not be able to
develop academically and in character without the guidance and support of our schoo!’s academic and non-academic
stail. Wo aro blessed to bo in a school that has a good school spirit, whore zecognition and ailirmation flows in all
directions. We are blessed to be in the company of teachers who rendered their invaluable service and shared their
idens and wisdom to us, their students. Lat us not discount the support that we got from will always be a bastion of learning and a pride among the
students and alumni, Of course, this will not be possible without the able leadership of our beloved principal, faculty and teachers), we thank you for
another year of fruitful collaboration.

To all the parents who ara celebrating this momentous event especially with us, we thank: you fer all the hard worle
and support. For without your guidance, we will be at a loss. On behalf of my fellow students seated here this
morning, we would like to dedicate whatever honor we have achieved to your selfless sacrifice. Because of your love
and dedication, these talented and diverse students will be marching on their way to the stage and seceive their
awards and recognition in a few minutes time.
Addreos the Students
Lastly, to my fellow students, it is the day when we, students can say, “I've done it”... [tis a milestone in our life. It is
also a day when we gather and celebrate success. Remember that each recognition day is not the and but a new
beginning to a new horizon of our lives.
My fellow students, this Recognition Day is just to recognize our achievements for this year. However, there are many
more hurdles ahead of us. Continue to persevere. Continue to overcome. Continue to achieve. Please remember what
the Inte American Civil Rights Lander, Malcolm X said, "Education is our passport ta the fature, for tomorrow belongs
to the people who prepare for it today.’
Conclusion
On that note, I reiterate my appreciation to all of you who have come to witness this Recognition Day.
