The safety, health and welfare of the public shall be a priority all the times
by a Registered Engineer.
He/She must undertake the task/assignments only if a Registered Engineer
has ability in term of qualification either by experience or education in
field which is involved.
The code of conduct is an important code about how we behave in our
engineer life. It gives us the guidance to act in term of good manner and not
effecting the environment and society. This will direct the engineer for not
causing any harm to the future generation, society, and environment. With this
ethical code, as an engineer, instead of giving pleasure to themselves they can
also contribute to the society and guide their own career to become a
professional. This code also will give them a professional practice, improve their
personal behavior and can help them to act in a conflict of interest
CHOOSEN CODES
In this code of conduct, there are five main codes that must be follow by
an engineer. Within this five code, three of them will be discuss. There are:

There are also other sources that can guide an engineer to their
professional life and contributing to society. There are Online Ethic Centre (OEC)
this will also give guidance to engineer in their professional life. Besides, there
are also AIChE which provide an engineer value as the Global Leader of the
Chemical Engineering profession, the lifetime center for professional & personal
growth, and security of chemical engineers, and the foremost catalyst in
applying chemical engineering expertise in meeting societal need
CONCLUSION
This code of conduct is very important in the field of engineering. This because,
we all know, nowadays, there were many abuse of authorities happen. There for,
this code of conduct can minimize the abuse. This Code of Ethics and Conduct
reflects the person commitment to the highest standards of legal and ethical
conduct. It is offered as general guidance to engineer to be successful and
useful to the society instead of giving them pleasure
