Officers were dispatched to 1206 E Maryland St reference to a residential burglary


in progress. The caller told police they believe the offenders were still in the
house. Officers Lowe, Brown and Jones arrived. Officers cleared the house.
Dispatch called the victims to return to the scene. The victims told officers that
they were asleep on the couch in the living room when the front door was busted
in. The offenders who victims know came in. Offender 2 made comment about
having a gun. The victims ran out of the house and called the police.
There was some molding to the door laying on the front porch outside the front
door as was the TV cable.
CSU Det. Gentry and Det. Will responded.
The victims reported the TV and some cash stolen.

Victim said the suspect and her friend were causing trouble upstairs in
apartment #9 last night when officers on second shift arrived for a DV call. The
victim allowed the suspect and her friend to stay with her over night in the
downstairs apartment #3.
In the morning when the suspect and friend would not leave she forcibly kicked
them out. The suspect then broke the window out of her front door.
The victim believes the two went back up to apartment #9. I knocked on the
door of #9 and nobody answered. I explained to the victim that she needed to
contact prosecutors office to file the charge.

Victim said that she last saw the shed closed and locked around 1200hrs on
09-27-2016 and she noticed it was opened around 1600hrs on 10-05-2016. The
lock had been broken off the shed and 4 wheels with tires were missing. Also
missing was a toolbox that contained numerous tools. There are no cameras and
she has no idea who may have taken them.

The reporter was driving west on Washington Ave turning south onto Vann. The
reporter stated that her drivers side window "blew out". It appears that the drivers
outside mirror was struck and that hit the window. The reporter did not have any
description of the other vehicle. The reporter stated that a witness told her that
"something was sticking out the window of the other car". The witness was not on
scene.

Deadly Weapon (C), at 646 E Florida St, Evansville, IN, between 11:10, 10/06/2016

I was dispatched to 646 E. Florida St. in reference to a subject with a gun.


Dispatch advised the subject with the gun left the scene in a blue Dodge Charger
after the incident. I arrived and met with the victim, Alex Luecke. He was with
his girlfriend/IO, Breanna at their residence. Luecke said Breanna`s
brother/suspect, James, had been talking on the phone about James
getting the title of the listed car from Breanna. Breanna said the car is a Grey 2012
Dodge Charger that she and James both paid for. Breanna said she told James she
could drop the car title off at his address, but he said he didn`t want her to come to
his house. Breanna said James began calling her names and being disrespectful to
her. A short time later Breanna and Alex said James showed up at their residence
in the car and stopped in front of the house. Alex said he approached the car to
talk to James, and James displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and racked the
slide to chamber a round. Alex said James referred to him as a "white boy", and
said he did not want to talk to him. James left the scene at this time in the Charger.
Officer Jolly went to James` address to try and make contact
with him. Officer Jolly said he spoke to James and he acknowledged the incident.
He said Alex approached him in an aggressive manner. Jolly said James told him
he is handicapped and is confined to a wheelchair, and thought Alex was going to
assault him. James said he never racked the gun, but told Alex he had one. He
said he then left the scene.

Reporter said that around 1045hrs on 10-06-2016 3 subjects entered the store and
started selecting items and stuffing them into bags. They later left without paying
for them. As of right now they know that 25 items were stolen with a total value of
$1088.30. There might be more items missing. They are going to check. They have
the theft on video. They are going to wait for another employee to come and see if
that employee can burn the video to a disk. Reporter said that the suspects steal
from them alot and they all look to be around 16-17 year old.

Officer dispatched to 1111 N Fares Ave reference to residential burglary report.


Upon arriving officer noticed the building was a shop enclosed by a chain link
fence. The victim said that he was living in the building and running a business
out of it. He also advised that he was moving to Slaughters, Ky.
The victim stated that last night the offenders came to his home / shop. He only
knew offender 1. She rolled what the victim described as a fake cigarette. He
and the offenders had a short confrontation over that and the offenders left. He
said that cigarette that was rolled was left on the desk.
The victim said that he locked up his home / shop and left around 2245hrs. When
he arrived today the back door was unlocked and the items listed were missing.
The cigarette that was left by the offenders had been smoked and the butt was in
the ashtray. The victim said that he may have left the back door unlocked when
he left last night. There was no signs of forced entry.

When Bryce (V1) returned, he saw that the listed items were missing from his
bedroom and the living room. Deante (V2) later came home and said that his
lap-top was missing from his room.
Bryce said that, with the exception of his bedroom window, which doesn`t
lock, the house was locked when he left this morning and when he returned this
afternoon.
Crime Scene Tech D. Hamner processed the scene.

Officers were in routine patrol in the 1200-blk of east Eichel in marked unit 1508,
when we smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the west.
Officers observed that all the windows of 1211 E Eichel were open and observed a
white female sitting in the living room. Officers made contact with the offender at
1211 E Eichel. When the offender opened the door, officers could immediately
smell the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the home.
Officers asked and were granted permission to enter the home. Officers asked the
offender if she had been using narcotics and she informed us she was smoking
marijuana. The offender provided officers 2 small burnt cigerette ends and a small
baggie containing a green leafy substance. From officers training and experience
we knew this substance to be marijuana.
The offender was cited and released (UTT-8220107553).

The victim advised she returned home after being gone all day and found her
door still locked and secured like she left it. After noticing blood on her bed and
wall she started looking around and found her back sunroom window was
shattered. It appears the unknown suspect went into the back yard which has a
unlocked privacy fence around it. A window was broken which gave entry and
exit to the suspect. I observed blood on the carpet near the window, on kitchen
cabinets, and in the victims bedroom. It appeared the victims room had been
ransacked. The victim advised a personal friend that had been helping her paint
inside the home came in through the main door at 1000 hours with a key and then
left within five minutes. The friend advised the house had not been broken into at
that time. Crime Scene arrived to investigate and the victim was advised how to
add items to the report in the future.

Templeton stated that he came home and noticed that someone had stolen a section
of his fence. He has a chain-link fence at the rear of his home. He also stated in his
back yard someone had taken a pile of scrap metal he had been saving as well as a
small charcoal grill. Templeton stated that he has no suspect information but the
abandoned buildings next door to him had homeless people living in them again.

I was dispatched to this address for theft in progress. The WI stated she observed
the OF take a tip jar from the counter top and conceal it under his shirt before
exiting the store. The OF then fled towards Main St. Officers checked the area, but
were unable to locate the OF. The OF is a W/M, gray shirt, dark blue cargo shorts,
blue hat, and has a distinct tear drop tattoo under his eye. The RP(owner) was
given a case number and also advised to contact dispatch if the OF returns.

The suspect lives out of county and has called police to the address more than
once in the recent past due to a burglary she says occurred at her home in Warrick
County. She stated on the first call the crime had been properly reported in
Warrick County, she suspected her son of committing it, and she had not allowed
Warrick County proper time to investigate but she wanted officers to go into the
home and get her property back. The incident was dealt with at that time and the
suspect left the scene.
On todays date the suspect called police to the address because her son`s wife
(victim) pushed her and she wanted to press charges. The victim and involved
other advise the suspect had been driving by the house for hours and the victim
finally went out to talk to her. The suspect wanted the involved other to leave with
her, a verbal argument ensued, and the suspect pushed the victim. The suspect
was barred/banned from the property at the request of the victim and involved
other. The suspect was advised to stay away from the property.
Neither party had any visible injury.

On the listed date and approximate time, the victim stated she and the offenders

were having a verbal confrontation. During the incident, the victim stated the
offenders physically attacked her and caused injuries to her. During the attack, the
victim stated her 5yo son was present and witnesses the assault. The victim was
able to get away from the offenders and later went to the hospital due to the
severity of her injuries. A crime scene detective was called to the hospital to
photograph the victim`s injuries. Officers went to the scene of the incident and
found one of the offenders on scene (OF#1). This offender was taken into custody
and transported to the confinement center. The other offender (OF#2) was not on
scene. The victim was advised of her rights as a victim.

Street states that she was at the Fall Festival with her children, was in the kiddy
rides at Wabash & Franklin St taking a selfie when Beckerle came up to her and
got into an argument. Evidently Beckerle thought Street was taking a picture of
her. Beckerle threatened to beat her ass and mess her up. Street advised that 2
other subjects were holding Beckerle back. Street was holding her juvenile child at
the time of the incident. Street was advised on how to follow up with the
Prosecutors Office.

The victims left around 1800 hours and arrived home to discover the rear house
window open and the back door unlocked. They advised the doors were all locked
when they left but where unsure if the window was locked. It appears the
unknown suspect entered the back yard through a unlocked fence and gained entry
through the unlocked window. He then left through the back door and knocked
over a table and chair on the deck while doing so. The house window screen was
found out in the back yard away from the window.
The victims discovered two computer tablets missing at the time police were on
scene. Crime Scene arrived to investigate. They were advised how to add
property to the report at a later time if needed.

Officers were dispatched to 218 W Illinois for a theft report. Upon arrival, Jerry
Gish, stated an acquaintance stole his wallet.
Gish stated he was in his bedroom sleeping when the offender entered the room to
ask a question. Gish fell back asleep and the eventually woke up to use the
bathroom. When Gish went to his dresser he noticed his wallet and the offender
were missing.
Gish was given a case number.

The victim vehicle is owned by MJ and was driven to work by MH. Sometime
between the hours of 0900 and 1700, the vehicle was hit by another vehicle that
left the scene, causing damage to the right rear bumper area of the victim vehicle.
There was a note left on the vehicle by an apparent witness that gave a plate
number but no suspect vehicle description.

Victim states she came outside and saw a white male running, while rolling the
spare tire from her truck. Victim states the suspect had brought the special tool
required to remove the spare tires that are under the trucks as well. Her truck was
locked and her spare tire tool was inside. The suspect was described as a white
male and was driving a White early 2000`s Ford Ranger with a dent in the drivers
side, right behind the door in the extended cab part.

Officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at the above
address in reference to a Hold-Up in Progress. On scene, I spoke to the store
manager (later identified as E. Cate, listed as Reporting Party # 1). Cate stated he
was standing at the customer service counter next to a register when a black male
wearing a mask dressed all in black came behind the counter and started
demanding money. The suspect began looking through drawers and Cate advised
that he demanded that Cate open the register.

suspect so he grabbed approximately $63.00 from a customer that was at the
customer service desk attempting to check out. Cate advised the suspect them ran
out of the front of the store and was last seen running north on Lombard. Cate
then gave the customer who had her money taken $63.00 from the register to
compensate for the money she had stolen.
I spoke to the customer who stated she had her money back and refused to
provide her name or a statement other than that she did not want a report. Cate
was then given a case #.

The person made entry through the rear kitchen window. They cut the screen and
pried the window. They exited through the rear sliding glass door.
Crime scene was called to process the apartment.
