Requirements
Customer Service Representative
Customer Service positions require good phone and computer skills and a
great personality. Must love animals and cannot mind getting hands dirty - lots
of slobbery pet kisses from our pet guests...and everyone is responsible to
mop up an occasional "accident" in the lobby. Plus everyone steps in to help
care for pet guests as needed.
ANIMAL LOVERS A MUST! Experience in pet care preferred, but will train.
Holidays and weekends are REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
In this position you will be trained to:
* Operate our phone system
* Communicate over the phone with our customers and vendors
* Adequately respond to their comments, requests and problems.
* Proactively escalate and communicate customer issues to appropriate
personnel/departments
* Proactively escalate and communicate call center technology issues to
appropriate personnel.
* Contribute to constant improvement by sharing and implementing ideas with
supervisors and other management staff and peers.
* Recognize your own strengths and developmental needs and take action to
leverage developmental opportunities.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent

Part-Time Receptionist
Office: Lincoln Park Plaza (Clark Street)
Hours: Saturday and Sunday 11:30 to 5:00.
Job Duties:
Answering phones and directing callers to the appropriate destination.
• Setting showings by calling sellers and showing agents to give them
pertinent information to show properties. • Maintaining listing information
including status, price and showing information in the system. • Creating
brochures/flyers using Microsoft Publisher • Welcomes on-site visitors and
determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate
personnel. • Receives, sorts and routes mail to appropriate personnel. •
Maintains fax machines and assists users with the transmission and routing of
faxes. • Keeps reception area neat and ready for visitors.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 1+ years of prior reception experience required.
• Prior Real Estate experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and creative problem solving experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Publisher preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all
levels. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business
needs in a team environment.
Research Data Junior Analyst - Coordinate the collection of data from point
of origin; this may include contacting various groups outside of Mesirow
Financial to obtain data. Review and analyze research documents, which
include but are not limited to: hedge fund transparency/return
statements/marketing documents/audited financial statements; 3rd party data
and systems; internal and external research reports; and government,
financial, or economic web sites.
Analyze data to identify missing, incomplete, or invalid information. Contact
originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or
missing data. Ensure accuracy of source data by running quality checks;
perform statistical analysis to establish accuracy of data entered. Manipulate,
standardize, consolidate, and enter data into various proprietary databases.
Assist in designing, developing, testing, documenting, and supporting research
reports. Proactively review current data entry processes for efficiency and
identify process improvements, standard operating procedures, best practices,
etc. Interact with various business groups outside of research, including
accounting, client management, business development, and senior
management. BA/BS, preferably majoring in Finance or Economics. Will also
consider Computer Science or Information Systems with relevant industry
experience. Entry level to 2 years of relevant work experience; financial
services industry is highly preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office,
especially Excel, is required. Experience with SQL Server tools and utilities,
including querying data, is preferred. Ability to synthesize and communicate
complex qualitative and quantitative data. Critical thinking required. Strong
organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and
ability to work independently.
Strong written and verbal skills; ability to communicate clearly and confidently
with research team and senior management.

Responsible for managing the marketing, client recruiting and evaluation of the
Credit Builder Loan Program.
Serves as liaison between the program and organizations in order to find low-
to-moderate income individuals and families who are in need of financial
management educations and credit repair.
Tests and monitors new and current systems. Interacts with stores regarding
proper documentation preparation related to invoices, chargebacks, credit
memo, unmatched receivers, systems.
Maintains strong working relationships with the stores and regional managers.
Prepares month end reporting, analyze data for accuracy, create journal
entries.
Prepares ad hoc reporting for management team and handles other duties as
assigned. BA/BS in accounting or related field. 2 to 5 years accounting
experience, preferably in inventory, retail sales. Advanced communication
skills.
