electronics experiences. Field experiences have included consumer and industrial electronics, motherboard and main-board repair and trouble-shooting, electronics assembly, and software program loading. Skills include soldering, trouble-shooting integrated circuits, repair of the printed circuit board, and reverse engineering. Hired as an Electronics’ bench technician. ♦ Duties entail testing line product for defects down to the component level. Reading schematics to trouble-shoot failed product and performing the specified class of repair. Monitoring the line process and making suggestions to improve build time and quality of production and also performing each individual task of the operation at hand. Rewriting test procedures and updating process agendas.

Hired as a Repair technician and laid off due to the loss of contracts. ♦ Troubleshooting and repair Symbol model #6800 Barcode scanners for various contracts. Surface mount circuit repair and reflow of electronic components. Troubleshooting required component level diagnostics. The circuitry dealt with the digital transmission of inventory data via wireless networks. The scanners run the DOS 3.1 operating system.

Hired as a Repair technician and laid off due to the Lack of funding. ♦ Duties entailed troubleshoot and repair of customer’s merchandise. Quote estimates to customers and put parts on order. Replace failed components and document the task time of the repair.
