Hired as an Electronics’ bench technician.
♦ Duties entail testing line product for defects down to the component level. Reading
schematics to trouble-shoot failed product and performing the specified class of repair.
Monitoring the line process and making suggestions to improve build time and quality of
production and also performing each individual task of the operation at hand. Rewriting
test procedures and updating process agendas.

Jul of 2004 – May of 2008 Technology Solutions Inc.


Hired as a Repair technician and laid off due to the loss of contracts.
♦ Troubleshooting and repair Symbol model #6800 Barcode scanners for various
contracts. Surface mount circuit repair and reflow of electronic components.
Troubleshooting required component level diagnostics. The circuitry dealt with the
digital transmission of inventory data via wireless networks. The scanners run the DOS
3.1 operating system.

Feb. of 2003 – Feb. of 2004 Dick’s Radio and Television repair


Hired as a Repair technician and laid off due to the Lack of funding.
♦ Duties entailed troubleshoot and repair of customer’s merchandise. Quote estimates
to customers and put parts on order. Return all customers merchandise undamaged
and promptly. Troubleshoot Video, and audio circuitry, and perform all necessary
repairs to circuit boards. Double check all wiring and connections before closing up an
item.

season and was released after the season was through.
♦ Assemble and repair refrigerant meters before packaging and sale. Calibrate the

wanting someone with more experience.
♦ Troubleshoot and repair Drive thru intercom systems. Troubleshoot analog TTL
circuits and amplifier circuits. Refurbishing the unit to look like bran new was a part of
the process. Repair circuit boards with broken or burnt up traces. Replace failed
components and document the task time of the repair.

♦ Troubleshoot and repair telephones units and KSU units. Component Level
troubleshooting on amplifier circuits and relay circuitry. Did some reverse engineering
to solve problems that people were having with particular units. Received work

or hardware issues. To register bad components and replace if it’s within warranty.
Offer assistance to walk in customers in a timely manner. Place orders for replacement
parts and package for shipping.
