Class Date and Weather Chart

Aim:
To introduce useful language for weather and dates.
Procedure:
Design a blank template of a calendar on coloured card.
Prepare word cards for the months of the year and days of the
week.
Also prepare colourful pictures of a sun, a cloud, a rain cloud etc.
At the start of each lesson ask the students the date. One student
can come up and paste the correct day and month onto the
calendar/chart. Students can follow the teacher in saying the
date. Do the same with the weather, with the students saying Its
a sunny day (depending on the days weather).
You can also introduce words such as yesterday, today, tomorrow
etc.
