Uniform motion is the kind of motion in which a body covers equal

distances in equal intervals of time. It does not matter how small
the time intervals are, as long as the distances covered are equal.
If a body is involved in rectilinear motion and the motion is uniform,
then the acceleration of the body must be zero.
Example: If the speed of a car is 10 m/s, it means that the car covers
10 meters in one second.
Non Uniform motion on the other hand is the kind of motion in
which a body cover unequal distances in equal distances of time, no
matter how small the time intervals.
Example: If a car covers 10 meters in first two seconds, and 15
meters in next two seconds.
If a body is involved in rectilinear motion, and if the motion is nonuniform, then the acceleration of the body must be non-zero.

The average speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance travelled by the
object divided by the duration of the interval; the instantaneous speed is the limit of
the average speed as the duration of the time interval approaches zero.

Uniform Velocity Definition

A body is said to have uniform velocity if it covers equal distance in equal
intervals of time in a particular direction, however the time intervals may be small.
This means that if a body is traveling at a constant speed along a straight line
(i.e, a particular direction) then it said to have uniform velocity .
Acceleration is absent if the body moves with uniform velocity.

Non Uniform Velocity

A body is said to have variable velocity if it covers unequal distance in equal
intervals of time in a particular direction, however, the interval may be small or it
covers equal distance in equal intervals of time but its direction keeps on
changing.

The average speed of an object is defined as the distance traveled divided by the time
elapsed. Velocity is a vector quantity, and average velocity can be defined as the
displacement divided by the time.

Instantaneous velocity is the velocity of an object in motion at a specific point in

time. This is determined similarly to average velocity, but we narrow the period of time
so that it approaches zero. If an object has a standard velocity over a period of time, its
average and instantaneous velocities may be the same.
Constant velocity::: In physics, velocity is defined as the displacement divided by
time where displacement is defined as the difference between your final and initial
positions. Furthermore, when an object travels the same distance every second, then
the object is said to be moving with constant velocity.

Acceleration is a vector quantity that is defined as the rate at

which an object changes its velocity. An object is accelerating if it is
changing its velocity.

Uniform acceleration::: If an object's speed (velocity) is increasing

at a constant rate then we say it has uniform acceleration. The rate
of acceleration is constant. If a car speeds up then slows down then
speeds up it doesn't have uniform acceleration.
Non-uniform acceleration constitutes the most general description of
motion. It refers to variation in the rate of change in velocity. Simply put,
it means that accelerationchanges during motion.
