Would you like a soldier to be your teacher? Of course not youll be yelled at and ordered
around! Thats what most people think, but actually this image is . In a
programme called Troops to Teachers, American ex-soldiers to teach in the
school system. Soldiers and schools gain from this, since the soldiers are given a way to

students who gain the most. Far from acting like theyre still in the army, the soldiers are kind,
and enthusiastic educators. Because many are from ethnic minorities and
