Previewing Report Format


Short Description

Preview Report in different graphical format.


Ensure the following:

Perform the following steps to preview report in template management:

1. On menu bar, click


(Preview Report Format) button. Report
window appears, as shown in Figure 5.

2. From Preview Report Format window tool bar, click


(View Chart) icon. The graphical chart appears, in the pane
below the report data area. Browse the entire chart by using
the scroll bar. User can also view the complete report data or
chart by clicking on the two small upward or downward triangles of the splitter, as shown in Figure 6.

3. Three different types of graphs can be viewed, such as (Pie),


Histogram and Curve. User can select graphic style in view
chart window from Please Select a Chart drop-down list.
Chart attributes can be changed by right-clicking in blank
area of chart display area and selecting some operations from
the pop-up menu. In Pie chart, if user right-clicks on blank
area three options are provided, Save as , Zoom Out and
ZoomIn, as shown in Figure 7.

4. Select Histogram Chart from drop-down list to view Histogram


chart, as shown in Figure 8.

5. Rightclick on Histogram chart and then select Set Series


Visible from pop-up menu. Set Series Visible window appears, as shown in Figure 9. User can select the series form
the available series list.

6. Select Curve graphic option drop-down list. Curve chart window appears, as shown in Figure 10.

2. After setting conditions in Parameter Input Box window, click


OK. Data report appears, as shown in Figure 13.

3. In View Report window Export, Print, View Chart and Dynamic set current sheet chart information(s) options are
available.

(Export) option is for exporting data report in different


formats like .csv .xls, .pdf, and .html, as shown in Figure 14.

(Print) option is to print the generated report.

(View Chart) option is to view the report in graphical


format.

(Dynamic set current sheet chart information(s))


option is to view the information in graphical form. Parameters
can be modified, and the results can be seen dynamically, as
shown in Figure 15.

Task Management
Task Management can fill in the data automatically in report template and finally generate a report according to pre-defined task
triggering rules and parameters. In Task Management, complex
task triggering rules can be specified and customizing hourly reports, daily reports, weekly reports, monthly reports, yearly reports, and one-off reports are available.

Adding Business Type


Short Description
Prerequisites

Report templates are classified based on business type. Users can


add, delete or modify a business type if needed.
Ensure the following:

1. Rightclick on left pane and select Add Business Type, as
shown in Figure 24.

Creating Task
Short Description

Prerequisites

Context
Steps

Task can be created on hourly on monthly basis . Creating task


includes different steps. Step 1 is to set the basic attributes of
the report such as name and description. Step 2 is to choose the
report template and set the time of execution. Step 3 is to enter
the parameter value for the selected template.
Ensure the following:

Task Management interface is open.

Perform the following steps to create task:


1. On tool bar, click

button.

2. Create Report Task window appears. Create Report Task


window includes Basic Information, Set Template of Task
and Advanced Options tabs, as shown in Figure 27, Figure
28 and Figure 29 respectively.

3. After entering all the parameters, click Finish button to save


the parameters. Confirmation Message box appears, as
shown in Figure 30.

Creating Merging Task

To create task to merge two or more reports and export in Excel


format.

3. After changing required parameters click Finish to save the


changes made. Successful modified message appears, as
shown in Figure 40.
