Good intonation and rhythm are very important, but so is the ability to play with a good tone, shape the musical phrase and give the music direction. + Ifyou have divisi, play the upper one. If you are not sure if a passage should be played divisi or multiple stops, play divisi. + Ibis better to play slowly but correctly than to play fast and in a disorganized way, stopping and loosing the pulse.
