How were you able to lead a balanced life as a student?

Christian Paul R. Gangan

Finding balance in life is a realistic and important goal. However, sometimes

there are glitches that make us feel that life is like out of control. When this happens, it
is usually because we are not getting our needs met or we are not aligned with our
values and out of our integrity most specially when you are a student.
Being in a state of balance doesnt mean that you are able to handle everything
in harmony. Remember that balance is made up of many vital areas including your
health, family, financial, intellectual, psychological, physiological, social, work, spiritual,
recreation, personal growth, romance and more. One wont necessarily need to spend
time every day in each area on equal amounts to be considered as balanced.
Leading a balanced life as a student is about integrating those very important
and significant components of happiness and success to your life. It is like prioritizing
something more valuable than the others. A question of what comes first and what
comes next. And this includes a formula the combination of time management and
rapid careful actions.
During my previous years as a student, I was bombarded with multiple tasks that
must be accomplished with immovable deadlines; student organizations related
papers, academic files that will keep me on the list of students vying for Cum laude and
the likes. But despite of the huge number of requirements and other commitments in
life, I managed to accomplish everything with the formula stated above plus the help of
the people who stood behind and supported me in my fight.
Above all these, I also learned and proved that happiness, contentment and faith
in God makes everything in life balanced. Live with God and you will live your life up to
the fullest.
