Scientific Research Demonstrates that the Sierra Bender

Empowerment Method Empowers Women from the Inside
Out
St. Petersburg, Florida (October 16, 2016) The Day of Empowerment hosted by Sigma Delta Tau
sorority will be held at Northeastern University where 100+ women from different sororities on campus will
participate to redefine sisterhood and womens empowerment on campus. Their mission is to lower the
incidences of rape and change the culture on campus. The event will hold from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Cabral Center Northeastern Campus, Boston, MA
The Day of Empowerment is part of Sierra Benders call-to-action to educate and empower women to
break the cycle of rape. A movement for females to reclaim their voice, body, femininity and assert their
rights. The goal throughout this tour is to stop the self-destructive illnesses plaguing American college
girls today, including drug use, sexual abuse, eating disorders, domestic violence, and low self-esteem.
Shocking studies have recently revealed that one out of five females are raped on campus, and nine out
of the 10, know their attackers.
I attended Sierra Benders Goddess to the Core event on February in Boston and gained so much
personally from it. I did not know what to expect, but after a weekend with Sierra, I was able to let go of
pain I didnt even know I was holding onto, grow my leadership skills, and gain confidence in myself.
Since the event, I am stronger as a woman; I know my self-worth, and I do not accept anything less than
that in all aspects of life. The workshop so moved me, that I knew I needed to share this experience with
my sorority sisters at Northeastern University. Sierra is now coming to our campus to host a Day of
Empowerment. We could not be more excited for this much-needed change on our campus! said Sara

The event provides attendees with lifetime tools, skills and inspiration they need for personal and
professional empowerment. Sierra Bender has helped millions of women and girls around the world
become empowered to heal their minds and bodies, dismiss unhealthy relationships, establish

-2boundaries with partners and/or co-workers, build confidence in the workplace, rid themselves of
addictions, heal the after effects of physical, mental, domestic abuse and violence.
The Day of Empowerment was held at Harvard Law School and Simmons College in spring 2012. The
sold-out events welcomed over 140 women and created long-lasting results for all attendees.
