4. Emergency Active plan (EAP) is a major step in preparing for emergencies.
5. First Aid kit is a collection of supplies and equipment that is used to give medical
treatment, and can be put together for purpose by an individual or organization or
purchased complete.
6. Health has to deal with disease causing conditions which are due to adverse
reaction to prolonged exposure to dangerous through less intense hazard.
7. Hazard is any source of potential damage, harm or adverse health effects on
something or someone under certain condition at work.
8. Occupation Health and Safety Act (OHS) is designed to ensure a healthy and safe
workplace.
9. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a equipment worn to minimize a workers
exposure to a variety of hazard. Examples of personal protective equipment may
include: Boots, Goggles, gloves Etc.
10. Security, deals with the protection of individual against risk such as thieves and
dishonest people, terrorist and violent and aggressive people.

11. Safety is concerned with injury causing situations or hazards to humans that
result of sudden serve and health.

looks out of place, for example a travelling bag near a rubbish bin

health, safety and security procedures in place. Effective procedures protect your employees,
customers, guests and facilities from harm and damage. Review your health and safety
procedures regularly with your management team to see if any changes need to be made to make
the policies more effective.
