Clear the Event

To make its way to the opponent side, the Robo has to throw away all the elements of the opponent
present on the table.
A similar situation may come up from the opponent side as well and the Robo should carefully follow the
instructions to avoid the ambush of enemies.
The Robo should complete the task with least amount of time.
The Robo which gains the maximum points will be declared as the winner. (Point includes- time taken by
Robo to reach the opponent side + Bonus points).
The teams will be given several opportunities to gain bonus point and that will be declared on the time of
event.

Challenges

Design of manually operated robot which has capability to cover maximum distance
within least time period with obstacles either big or small.
Robot has to push object off to a low platform.
Robots have to push off all the objects given to them and reach on opponent sides
starting point.
The robot which gains the maximum points will be the winner. (Points includes- time
taken by robot to reach the opponent side + Bonus points).
You will be given several opportunities to gain bonus point and it will declare on the
time of event.

Winner has to clear three rounds.

Table track for three rounds has different hurdles.

This is racing event so fastest and most balanced robot will win.

The team should not consist of more than 4 members

Each member from same college is not mandatory.

Terminals for charging the battery will be provided.

The decision of the judges will be final and abiding. Argument with judges in any
form will lead to the disqualification of the team.

The robot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run; else it will result in
disqualification.

The robot should follow the robot specifications provided. Any deviation from the
mentioned specifications will lead to disqualification.

Once the race begins, two hand touches are allowed, if your taking hand touch you
have to start from last check point.

If the Robot crosses a checkpoint, and moves off track/ fall from the bridge/table,
then the Robot would be placed back on the previous checkpoint crossed.

Machine must not contain any readymade kits, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, IC
engines.

The robot should not damage the table.

The weight of the machine should not exceed 3.5 kg.

The machine should be controlled by a wireless remote control mechanism.

The L X B should not exceed 30 X 25 cm. H should not be less than 10cm.

However a tolerance of 5% is acceptable.

Certificates will be given to all the participants.

Power source should be on board

The maximum allowed voltage to power the robot is 24V.

No re-adjustment is allowed during the run

Eligibility : All regular students with a valid identity card of their respective educational
institutes are eligible to participate in the event.

Table Specification

The track surface and course line may have unevenness.


There might be abrupt angles.
There will be certain obstacles in the race track which will try to slow down the robot.
The design and size of the obstacles may vary from that shown in the pictures.
Major changes will be notified on the website.
Table will consist of switch gate, speed breakers, marble pit, rotating curve ramp
down etc.
