Overview of my Background More Detail

A CPA by trade (practiced Audit at KPMG), I quickly realized that automation and serving as a change
agent is truly my passion. Over my 15+ year career, I have served in Finance (Lehman, Merrill
Lynch), Risk (Merrill Lynch and MUFG Union Bank), Technology (Royal Bank of Canada), and
Compliance (Citi and JPMC). Regardless of my location in the company, my responsibility was to
ensure that the technology being developed, delivered and utilized met the needs of my stakeholders.
At Lehman, I was responsible for the team which redesigned and deployed the Global Equity
Consolidations System. The creation of this system was the result of deep collaboration with
business partners in the three regions (US, England and Japan) to define the technology and to develop
an application that enabled each region to meet local needs while achieving enterprise goals.
While at Merrill, I bridged the relationship between Finance and Risk to achieve the implementation
of Oracle 11i in a manner that met the needs of Finance, Risk and the Middle Office, maximizing the
business value of the implementation and ensuring that by implementing a new General Ledger, we
were also going to address the issues my team identified with the feeds the daily P&L which was
being used to manage the Businesses was receiving different information (position/trades) from the
information being received by the Ledger at monthend.

My Citigroup experience involved working with 103 different countries to understand the
regulations that needed to be captured and documented. Since the technologies in these countries
were at varying levels of sophistication, we built a data collection mechanism that could be used
everywhere, consolidating in the USA. I had significant interaction with the regulators, as we had a
Part 30 order that we were resolving.

I was head of Valuations Finance Technology at Royal Bank of Canada. They had outsourced the
creation of the core software and, when I was hired, they had just learned that the software vendor
failed to build what was needed. I managed a team of BAs across four regions, driving
collaborations and sharing of best practices to develop a new business requirements
document. Aligning stakeholders around the common, measurable goals, and leveraging offshore
resources, we successfully rebuilt the application and released it in a rolling manner across the
regions.

At JPMC, my focus was on building prototypes so that my user community could test functionality
before Technology built the software significantly saved time, money and effort.

Over the past three years, I have been responsible for collaborating with senior executives, technology
partners and Business leads to deploy governance, and to determine the strategy for our data
warehouses, analytical tools and other enterprisewide shared technologies. I also defined priorities
for a $25m local project budget, by working with stakeholders to maximize efficiencies and value.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss my background in more detail. Thank you.
