New General Ledger

The following functions are not supported for the new general ledger and are
therefore not released:
- Archiving of totals records (available, see Note 862523)
- EURO conversion (tools available, see Note 1070629)
- Audit Information System (AIS)
- Creation of data extracts (DART) for non-leading ledger
- Multiple valuations in the sense of profit center valuation and group valuation are
neither supported in the general ledger nor in subsidiary ledgers.
- Simultaneous use of the new general ledger and the "Transfer Prices" function
- Statistical key figures
- Reconciliation report totals records - documents (available, see Note 862523)
- Migration programs for the change from the existing General Ledger to the new
general ledger do not exist yet. (partly available, see Note 862523, see also SAP
Service Marketplace under alias GLMIG, or Note 1070629) For the new general
ledger, the following functions are only released with limitations:
- Reporting with additional dimensions (segment and profit
center, for example)
- Creation and use of a day ledger. If you have any questions,
open a
customer message under the relevant component.
- Limitations concerning non-calendar fiscal years in fixed asset
accounting (see Note 844029)
- Only some subsidiary ledgers of the new general ledger support the
mapping of multiple valuations using parallel ledgers for
parallel accounting.
For CO, a limitation in which exactly one
valuation is managed continues to
exist.
- The transfer of detailed account assignments from Human Capital
Management (HCM) and SAP Travel Management to the New GL
(for example,
profit center, segment, and so on) only exists in
part.
- The Online Splitter does not yet support all business
transactions, for
example, bill of exchange processing. However,
workaround solutions using
default account assignments are possible.
- The new General Ledger is not yet fully integrated with
industry
solutions. If you have any questions, open a customer
message under the
relevant component.
- In BW, there are no extractors for documents in the data entry
view that
are posted in the subledger (BSEG_ADD-Documents).
- There are no BW extractors for reading general ledger line items
(FAGLFLEXA). The following functions were enabled with
Support Package 10:
- Line item current account reporting on additional
dimensions (segment, profit center and others)
- Reconciliation report totals records
- Archiving of totals records - Migration with limitations
