The memorandum discusses a proposed change to the staff work week from 5 days to 6 days. Key points include:
- Staff would work one additional day per week but would receive a 6th week off as paid holiday in return.
- Staff have the option to be paid 50% more for working the 6th week instead of taking time off.
- The change would not affect existing holiday entitlements.
- A meeting will be held to discuss feedback and answer questions about the proposed staff scheme.

All Staf Staf Representative 26-Aug-13 Staf Scheme
At a recent meeting of the Committee an interesting suggestion comes up in
which the 5-day working week changes to a 6-day working week. The idea was announced to all staf including the managing positions. As a compensation of the extra day staf will have the right to the 6th week as a holiday The 6th week holiday could be workable if the employee wants. In that case we will pay 50% more than a normal week This planning does not afect the holiday entitlement In summary by working one more day each week, after 5 weeks will be earned 5 days which can be taken as a whole week of. There will be a meeting to discuss the feedback and answer possible questions. Please let me know your comments or opinions at: stafscheme@forwardplanning.com.sa
