Distribution Center Manager Mondelez (2012 2016)
Provided strategic leadership for the finished goods department responsible for
distribution of a variety of Nabisco products. Managed $22M in controllable costs to
deliver 300 million pounds of materials to internal customers and 100 million pounds of
materials to external facilities, which represented 38% of internal customers and 50% of
all facility exports of North America business. Responsible for the professional
development of eight DC, repack operations supervisors and total workforce of 100.

Achievements
Implemented process improvements that increased the Repack brand, securing 40%
additional business over 2 years for the betterment of the network
Increased productivity, and created the foundation of key new product initiatives.
Developed the new shipping process program that reduced damaged cases and
generated $350,000 in savings by listening to experienced workers to adopt best
practices.
Created a safety behavioral-based platform that was used at multiple in-network
facilities, driving safety incidents down 56% over the last four years because all
accidents are preventable.
Led initiative to install robotic palletization, reducing costs for club store products by

Inventory Planning Manager Kraft Foods (2011 2012)


Directed business operations for the largest Automated Shipping & Retrieval System (ASRS)
unit in Kraft Foods Nabisco manufacturing facility. Liaison between Chicago Bakery DC, HQ
product supply, mixing centers, DSD branch networks and end user customers. Ensured
continuous improvement and effectively leveraged resources to deliver business unit operations
KPIs including safety, quality, productivity, customer service, operational excellence, and
employee engagement.
Achievements
Developed robust inventory management program that reduced inventory discrepancies
by 33%.
Achieved 10% increase in overall production capacity by executing continuous
improvement projects focused on downtime elimination, waste reduction, and labor
utilization by adding employee involvement so they felt like an owner.
Generated $1M in labor savings and increased Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

capacity plan, crewing strategy, and collaboration with Engineering and vendors to test

Fig Newton removal conversion project, reducing by $250,000.
