Linguistic Landscape, (presentation for SLS408).
1 hour class presentation on bilingual communities and the linguistic
landscape. The presentation was followed with a class activity that I
designed.

Clarifying Stereotypes and inaccuracies about American Culture


(presentation was in Japanese for American Studies at Tomakomai
Komazawa University)
I presented information about American culture and the diversity in
America.

RELEVANT COURSEWORK
Spring 2013 SLS102-Intro to Second Language Studies
This course covered teaching pedagogy, teaching methodologies, theories
in SLS, classroom management, and required volunteering with ESL
students at the University. Teacher observation was required once a week
throughout the semester with a written Ethnography due at the end.
