MOLLY S. CRABTREE is a partner in the law firm of Porter Wright Morris &
Arthur LLP. She has significant experience representing both domestic and
foreign companies with their complex litigation needs, including environmental
administrative proceedings and litigation, antitrust investigations and litigation,
and general commercial litigation. As part of that experience, Ms. Crabtree has
represented national electric utilities in their defense of major environmental
enforcement actions brought by the USEPA and several northeastern states
under the Clean Air Act, and has developed experience and expertise in issues
relating to EPCRA, CERCLA, and RCRA. One of her litigation specialties is management
and efficient analysis of electronically stored information to assist clients in
effectively and defensibly protecting themselves from excessive discovery and
production costs. In one recent example, Ms. Crabtree assisted a Canadian
corporation to reduce its document production burden by 80 percent in a
contract action in which the opposing party attempted to engage in unnecessary
and excessive discovery, and later went on to secure a favorable verdict for the
client after a two-week jury trial. She is a member of the Ohio State, American
and Columbus bar associations. Ms. Crabtree earned her B.S. degree, cum laude,
from The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude,
from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
