Instant Activity:
Hello class hope all is well. Is everyone
full of energy or what?! Before we get
started we are going to play a quick game
to get the blood pumping. Real quick we
are going to play shark and minos. Before
we start I want to go over some rules
really quick. One, we do not push or hit
other classmates, is that understood?
Okay good, and secondly we must be
honest about being tagged because that
will make the flow of the game much
better. With that being said I need two
brave volunteers to get started being
sharks. Thank you. Lets begin, line up.

(show birdie) are called birdies, and this

is the racket. We are going to practice
how to pass the birdie with your partner,
but in order to do that we have to pay
attention to the COTS of the skills and
we also have to be careful that we dont
hit each other okay. With that being said
find a partner and wait for me to give you
a racket. DO NOT HIT each other with
the racket nor throw the racket
understood? After, I will pass again with
the birdie, but first I will demonstrate
how to pass. You pinch the birdie with
non dominant hand, non dominant foot
forward, swing with racket, release birdie
and make contact. Okay now you
practice with your partner. Ready set go!

a quiet hand tell me whats the name of
the thing we were using to pass? Thats
right a birdie. Can someone else tell me
