Work Experience
June 2015 August 2015, Lamb Weston A Division of ConAgra Ltd - I worked as a general labourer
in the summer of 2015. I also worked as a relief person for the Quality Assurance Lab in Lamb Weston.
December 2014 Medicine Hat School District #76 Worked as a Educational Assistant, worked as a
general helper to provide extra support and assistance in a kindergarten class. Worked with kids with
behavioural and cognitive issues.
Fall of 2012 - August 2014, Lamb Weston A Division of ConAgra Ltd - I started as a general labourer
in the fall of 2012. I was promoted to packaging operator in the winter of 2012. In this job, I had to work
in a stressful environment and work closely with different groups of people.
July 2011 March 2013, Safeway (Starbucks) Worked as a coffee bar server. I was able to train
people in the service industry.
July 2010 - August 2011, McDonalds- During my time at McDonalds I preformed numerous duties. I
was promoted to Team Leader and was in charge of crew training. It was a high pressure job and I had to
manage at least 4 people on any given shift. I supervised much of the managing of cash and drive-thru
activities.

Practicum Experience
September 2014 December 2014, Vincent Massey School My first practicum was in Vincent
Massey School in the Early Learning Program. I was given many opportunities to work one on one with
students with various behavioural, speech and other issues.
January 2015 March 2015, Riverheights Elementary School My second practicum is in
Riverheights Elementary School in a Grade 4 classroom.

Born in Manilla, Philippines
August 4, 1994
Raised by my mother in the Philippines, before immigrating to Taber in 2009.
I have two siblings: Isabel Comanda (Nursing Program at the University of Lethbridge) and Karla
Comanda graduate of the University of Alberta).

Education
Graduate of W.R. Myers High School - Taber, Alberta - June 2012

Currently, attending school at Medicine Hat College in the Education program.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy doing volunteer work in my free time. Some of the places I have volunteered for are:
Vacation Bible Camp in 2011, 2012,2013 and 2015, New Life Church Sunday School, Taber
Food Bank, and the Taber and District Community Adult Learning. My roles in these
organizations has been to assist others as they learn new skills and develop relationships with
children and adults. Personal fitness is very important to me. I enjoy running, cardiovascular
exercise programs and yoga. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with
animals, especially dogs.
