Joints to the flexible cables with insulation tapes is the area where we are looking for

alternatives as these joints were proved unsafe and resulted in incidents.

LET US SAY NO TO THE CABLE JOINTS WITH INSULATION TAPE AND APPLY SAFE
ALTERNATIVES.

Solution 1 : Using cable couplers which we are

practicing in most of our projects. This is very
useful for detaching /extending the cable joints.
One of the disadvantage of this is this is not
water proof.

Solution no. 2 : Using heat shrinkable

sleeves. This cost effective and easy to apply on joints. To some extent it
resists the water entry into the joint.
We need to insert on to the cable joint and apply hot air blow with the blower meant
for this purpose. This sleeve shrinks over the joint and provides total insulation.
