ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
- Appropriate bedding methods
- Proportioning and mixing of cement / organic
based adhesives as per spec. / mfr's.
instructions
- Control overall level of finished floor with
series of spot levels
- Line up floor tile joints with joints in
skirting tiles
- Where adjoining surfaces are in different
plane ensure the joints are continuous
- Stopping strips & divider strips installed
at change of floors
- Cut tiles neatly and accurately
- Joints made good around pipes & floor
drains
- Avoid cut courses
- Provide cut courses as wide as possible
- Surface irregularity within 3 mm
-Cure for period required
(3 days if not specified)

- Joints free from loose material

- Jointing mortar stiff, slump free &
workable
- Joints filling material for wall shall be stiff
and self supporting
- Tiles not disturbed
- No air trapped
- Surplus jointing material cleaned from tile
- Finish joints neatly & face of tile cleaned
and polished
- Use coloured grout if specified
