The upgrade risk check package is used in the Software Management Expert (SME) on the
iManager M2000 Mobile Element Management System (referred to as M2000) for checking
whether a network element (NE) meets the upgrade requirements. The functions of the
upgrade risk check package include the upgrade feasibility check and upgrade risk check.
Read this document before using the 3900 Series LTE eNodeB upgrade risk check package.

Upgrade path of an NE
The upgrade feasibility check is a prerequisite for the upgrade. You can perform the upgrade
feasibility check by creating an upgrade feasibility check task in the SME.
Figure 1.1 lists the upgrade feasibility check items.

The upgrade risk check is used to check the upgrade risks that may occur during the upgrade.
Corresponding preventive measures can be taken based on the checking result. You can
perform the upgrade risk check by creating an upgrade risk check task in the SME. This
