High In Plain Sight: Current Alcohol, Drug, and
Concealment Trends and Identifiers

Officer Jermaine Galloway

Those who desire up-to-date alcohol & other drug information and are seeking
basic-level education are encouraged to attend this one-day workshop.

Participants Will:
Understand quick identification of alcohol and other drug use indicators of
at-risk youth
Understand the current youth drug culture
Understand how alcohol and other drugs are concealed on school property, in
the classroom, and on/within clothing
Obtain tools for prevention, including improving school policy and procedures
regarding current student alcohol and drug abuse
Obtain area specific alcohol and other drug abuse information and content
This workshop will provide attendees with the ability, knowledge, and
confidence to help identify and prevent students who are abusing drug and alcohol.

Note: Certificates will NOT be handed out early. You must attend the
entire conference and turn in an evaluation to receive your certificate.

Officer Jermaine Galloway is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker,


national award winner, and author of several articles. He has also been an Idaho
law enforcement officer since 1997, with more than 13 years of experience in
alcohol and drug education, prevention, and enforcement. He currently provides
nationwide training on several alcohol and drug topics to coalition members, law
enforcement, educators, youth counselors, probation, prevention and treatment
professionals, health professionals, judges, and community members. He
provides over 125 visual aids for attendees to view, hold, and become familiar
with throughout each presentation. Officer Galloway has also developed two
non-profit organizations and created the Northwest Alcohol & Substance Abuse
Conference. In addition, he has received various awards and his program has
been highlighted in the recently released book, Clearing the Haze - Helping
Families Face Teen Addiction.
