I joined as an engineering graduate

and I now manage a design office
I joined Safran when I was 22 as a design engineer
and worked in mechanical integration. This first
experience played a decisive role in determining my
career path. After several transfers, including one
assignment abroad, I now manage 100 people at
a design office dedicated to thermal and mechanical
integration of aircraft engines the same office
where I started my career.

Technological innovation

As part of a multidisciplinary team,
Im helping to develop biometric recognition
software to improve the security of
ID documents. Working on a technology
that plays such a valuable role in everyday
life is particularly rewarding.

Working in another country

is a chance to really stretch myself
I started at Safran Electrical & Power in Mexico and was
transferred to China three years ago. Since my arrival in
Shanghai, Ive been supervising the supply chain
for the Chinese airliner program. This international
mobility is a chance to really stretch myself and learn
to work and communicate in new ways.

Machining high-tech parts

makes me proud
Im proud of my work, which involves
manufacturing high-tech parts for aircraft
landing gear, a job that demands a highly
analytical mind and meticulous attention
