The main design features are similar to those of the well-known
compact engines S50/60/70MC-C:

Short cylinder distance


Twin stay bolts
Thin shell main bearings
Crankshaft with increased journal diameters
Cylinder frame with integrated camshaft housing
Simple crosshead pin and wide guide shoe
