REGULAR VERBS

Verbs tell us what is happening. The tense of the verb tells us when
something is happening. The action may be taking place in the past,
present or future.

Most verbs add "ed" or "d" to the root word form to show an
action that happened in the past. Verbs that add "ed" or "d" to
show past action are called regular verbs. Learn that we add

A verb is an action word. It tells what someone or


something is doing. The regular verb tells
something about the subject of the sentence and
expresses actions, events or states of being.
Pow Wows are both a sacred and a social event
