1.0).Purpose:
1.1).TodefineaGuidelineontheimplementationofFirstAidKitCorner.

1.2).StandardUsageofeachbranchorfractionoftheFirstAidKitcorner.

2).Scope:
2.1)TheScopeisapplicableonlyfortheimplementationoftheFirstAidKitCorner.

3).Responsibilities:
3.1.SafetyChairperson;
3.1.1. Initiator of this activity and will take charge for planning and implementation on the
Productionline.

3.1.2.Carrytheoverallresponsibilityoftheseprojectandwouldcoordinateallactivitiestothe
concernedSectionmanager`spriortoimplementationandwouldinitiateanystudyifneedof
improvementinthefuture.

3.1.3. Responsible for the approval on the content of this guideline which will embodies the
wholeoperationalaspectofthisproject.

3.1.4. He will also served as the incharge person who will give directive in raising Purchase
Request (thru the Safety Auditor/ Coordinator incharge) whenever there is a need of any
materialrequiringforrequisitionetc.

3.1.5.HeisthesolekeeperofalltheAccident/Incidentformforhisfilingpurposes.

3.2.SafetyCoordinator/Auditor;
3.2.1.(A)SafetyAuditorResponsibletocreatepurchaserequestbasedontheassessmentand
directivegivenbytheIOSDHead.

3.2.1.(B) Responsible on the provision of this guideline and would change the contents
depending on the request or should there be any need of revision of these guideline in the
future.

3.2.2.ResponsibletoissuetheconsumableneedsoftheFirstAidkitcorner.

3.2.3. Aside from the issuance, He will take charge on the request, control of materials and
provisionofothergoodsbeitadirectmaterialorrequiringSTOfromtheStore.

3.2.4.TogetherwiththeSafetySectionHead,theywillconductPhysicalinventoryoftheitems
(ActualvarianceonthelineorforthestocksdueforIssuance)andrecord/balancetheresult.

3.2.5. He will also take charge in updating the brochures and other Reading paraphernalia`s
whichisbeingpostedontheFirstaidkitcorner.

3.2.6.Hewillalsocollectthesuggestions/commentsplacedinthesuggestionsboxandwillbe
studiedcarefullybythecommitteeduringtheirmonthlymeeting.

3.2.7. Prior to the implementation of this project, the Safety Coordinator will conduct
orientation to all the foremen incharge regarding the Standard operating procedure of this
project.

3.2.8.Hewillverifythecontentofanyaccident/incidentformelevatedtohispostandconduct
usualinvestigationonthesubject.Hewillthenproceedwithfinalconclusionandwillconveyhis
findingstotheIOSDHeadortoanyauthorizedpersonrequiringthereport.

3.4.ProductionForeman/SafetyPatrol;
3.4.1 Responsible for the continuous monitoring of these activity and ensure religious
complianceoftheirsubordinatesontheStandardOperatingProcedure(SOP)ofthisproject.

3.4.2. Responsible to feedback to concerned persons if noticed some cases of non

conformance/damageonanyofthebranchesoftheFirstAidKitcorner.

3.4.3.Responsibletoprovidelistingoftheconsumableitemsnearingtoextinctionlikemedicine
etc.totheSafetyCoordinatorforhisreviewandnecessaryaction.

3.4.4.Hewilltakeadministrativeactionshouldtherebeanynoncompliance,loss/damageor
anyintentionalactionthatmayjeopardizethefunctionalityofthisproject.

4.4.5. He will conduct a Standup orientation to all his subordinates prior to the
implementationofthisproject.HewillensurethatallthesepeopleshouldknowtheStandard
OperatingProcedureandanyviolatorsfoundwillbechargedaccordingly.

4.4.6. Responsible to initiate the Accident/ Incident Report should there be any accident
happenedontheproductionlineortosomeplaceswhichisstillundertheauthorityofAlfanar
ElectricalSystem.

3.5.ProductionOperator:
3.5.1.ResponsiblefortheproperusageoftheFirstAidKitcorner.

3.5.2.Responsibletofeedbackhisimmediatesuperiorforanydamagedorshortsupplyonthe
consumablesoftheFirstAidkit.

3.5.3.Theyareentitledtoputtheircomments/suggestionsonthesuggestionquestionnaires.
They could put any suggestive comments which could be beneficial to the Safety and
healthinessofthepeopleintheirworkplace.

5.0StandardOperatingProcedure:

5.1FirstAidKitCornerBranchesandUsage;
5.1.1.FirstAidBoxComprisessolelyofmedicineswhichisnormallyuseforservingFirstaid.

5.1.2. Safety and Health Brochures Educational Safety and Health Brochures which is user
friendlyinnature.

5.1.3.AccidentReportFormsUsedforrecordingaccidentsincurredontheline.

5.1.4.DropBoxDropBoxforChecklistofMedicineconsumables/SuggestionsandAccident
forms.

5.1.5. First Aid brochuresEducational and updated Health and Safety Brochures will be
displayedhereforWorkpersonnel`sawareness.

5.2WorkProcedure;

5.2.1.TheFirstAidkitcornerwillbeplacedinanareawhichisstrategictoWorkPersonnel`s
dailyroutine.

5.2.2. Prior to the implementation, proper awareness should be implemented based on the
levelofpositionlikeSafetyCoordinatorwillorienttheForemanorsafetypatrolinvolvedand
Foreman/SafetyPatrol`swillalsoorienttheirsubordinates.

5.2.3.TheFirstaidkitcornershouldbeintactatalltimes(consumablesandformsshouldbe
monitoredregularly).IncaseofShortsupplyornearingtoextinction(consumables),operator/
foreman or Engineer or Safety Patrol are entitled to feedback the issue to their Safety
Coordinatorforhisaction.

5.2.4. There would be Suggestion Questionnaires wherein every individual is entitled to fillin
andplacedontheDropbox.

5.2.5.EducationalBrochuresisalsofreeforeveryone`sreading.

5.2.6.Incaseofanyminoraccidents,FirstaidmedicineisreadilyavailableontheFirstaidbox.

5.2.7.AccidentReportformisalsoavailableandmandatorytouseforeveryaccidentincurred
ontheline.

5.3Do`sandDon`ts;

5.3.1PleasedontplaywiththecontentsoftheFirstaidKit.

5.3.2. Put suggestive comments on the suggestion questionnaires and beware of detrimental
wordsorsentences.

5.3.3. Use the appropriate medicine for any surgical or minor illness incurred, if in doubt
contact the safety patrol or Safety Coordinator for their knowledge and will also convey the
inquirytothecompanynurseorhigherposition.

5.3.4.Refraintheareafromanyloosematerialsandmakesurethatitisaccessibleatalltimes.

5.4Others;

5.4.1. In case of any minor accident, Workers will call the attention of their Safety patrol or
Foremanforassistance.

5.4.2.ForaccidentswhichisalreadybeyondthecapabilityoftheFirstaidkitmedicines,elevate
theissuetoproperauthoritiesforsaferpracticeandwillnotendangerthelifeofthevictim.

5.4.3.Theseguidelineanditscontentsissubjectedtochangeswheneverneedofsucharisesin
thefuture.
