1. Scope:
This method statement describes the steps to be followed in order to enlarge the
existing hole 10mm into 13mm hole due to the non-availability of required hole
size from supplier.

Place the pipe well supported on wooden bar

Clean the surface of pipe with cloth
Drill hole on the existing 10mm hole
Clean the rough hole edges with cutting blade
Clean the perforated pipe with cloth and all debris from inside
Measure the dia and slightly polish the hole with the same bit by up &
down movement with hand drill on position in order to have 13mm dia
hole

Pipe to be held firm in position on the wooden bar

Use face shield & PPE during work
Workers should be notified about hazard things during working.
Safety team shall be make sure of wearing all PPE during activity.
