BEFORE YOU START THE PKV Pro, YOU MUST BE

AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1) One should make several warm-up lifts with the machinery, so that the oil and the pressure

sensors will warm up to operating temperature.
2) Take care of the lubrication of the boom! Because the scale measures very accurately,

the friction of the boom must be as small as possible. An automatic lubrication system with

appropriate Vaseline is recommended. Otherwise lubricate manually once a day.
3) The zeroing of the scale should be done every time, when the hydraulic damping system of

the shovel is activated or deactivated during work.
4) If the mounting places of the limit switches are changed, or if changes to the shovel are

made, which result in changes in geometry or centre of mass, the scale has to be

recalibrated.
5) The speed of the boom must be as constant as possible between the limit switches,

i.e. at the measurement place; otherwise the scale will not necessarily accept the

measurement.
6) Avoid driving with too high speed during the measurement, otherwise the scale will ask for

remeasurement.
7) In the measurement place the C-limit switch must be on, i.e. the shovel must be in the

backmost position; otherwise there will be a disqualification.
8) The scale must be rezeroed from time to time, because it affects to the accuracy of the scale.

Recommended is every time before loading the truck!
9) If there are many shovels in use, be sure, that you are measuring with the same shovel,

that you have defined to the scale.
10) The pressure sensors of the scale are protected against big pressure spikes, but try avoiding

big shocks, that affect the boom. This will lead in big pressure spikes, which affect the

pressure sensors.
11) In order to protect the scale, it is better to start the loader engine first and then switch on the

PRO electronics.
12) When printing out receipts, reports and editing memos, the loader bucket should be in down

position.
13) When switching scale between weighing and non-weighing mode, the loader bucket should

be in down position.
14) Before washing the loader, be sure that the cabin door is fully closed to prevent water getting

into the cabin.
15) Protect the printer from dust. Warranty does not cover malfunction caused by dust.

Tamtron PKV Pro is an electronic scale for fixed installation on a wheel loader. Weighing is based
on measuring the hydraulic pressure of the booms lifting cylinder. The weighing mode is dynamic;
i.e. weighing takes place during lifting. The PKV weighs and displays the weight of the material in
the loaders shovel and sums up shovelfuls into loads. Each shovelful is summed to a load as the
shovel is emptied.
The PRO also features a clock and calendar. The PRO 200-300 models allow setting a truck- and
trailer-specific overload limit. All models can be equipped either with a card or slip or tape printer
for outputting the load weighing data and desired reports to paper.
VARIOUS MODELS
PRO 100
Includes two freely nameable load data (memo) which can store 1-100 data,

e.g. customer and material.
PRO 200
Includes 1-8 freely nameable load data (memo) capable of storing 1-2500 data,

e.g. customer, truck, trailer, material, etc.
PRO 300M
Weighing data can be transfered with memory card (M) or with USB-memory
PRO 300USB stick to PC. Data can also be transmitted from PC to scale.
PRO 300G/i
As PRO 300M but data is transmitted by GSM/GPRS data transmission instead

of a memory card.
PKV Pro 100 and PKV Pro 200 are expandable all the way to PKV Pro 300G/i. Gauging officials
can approve all models.
NOTICE
All the PRO models have an automatic, inbuilt compensation of error caused by tilted ground,
called automatic angle compensation. The state-of-art feature eliminates weighing error when
the wheel loader operates on a tilted ground with the tilt angle less than 12.9 degrees longitudinal and 10 degrees sideways.

1.1 DISPLAY
PRO has transreflective 5.6 LCD display. It is well
readable under sunlight. The adjustable backlight of the
display enables easy operation in darkened conditions.
The displays symbol fields indicate the scales mode of
operation. The status of the symbol fields also shows
the operational condition of switches. The meanings
of the seven symbol fields at the top of the display are
the following:
>0<
><
G
NET

Near the upper right corner is also displayed the tilting angle of the loader.
NOTICE
The condition of proximity sensors can be tested by observing the state of LO, HI and C
symbols during weighing. If the LO and HI symbols are darkened when the boom passes
the proximity sensors they are in order. The C symbol is darkened when the bucket is in the
backmost position.
1.2 KEYBOARD
A keyboard underneath the display performs the scale functions. It includes function keys
(F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 and F6), operation keys MENU, ENTER and PRINT) and arrow keys and

1.5 STANDBY MODE

Mode where the scale temporarily does not weigh. In a loading situation when the

shovel is needed, for instance, to move something out of the way or to compact

the load on the truck bed, the scale may be put in standby mode temporarily by
pressing F6 (WEIGH). Then, the display shows PAUSE as the weight. You can return to weighing
mode by pressing F6 (WEIGH) again. At standby mode you are able to perform zeroing while
loading (see 2.1 page 10)
1.6 TARING
If material remains stuck to the bottom of the shovel, e.g. frozen sand, that extra weight can be tared. In this case the scale indicates net weight and NET symbol is darkened. Go with MENU key
to main menu and choose TARING by ENTER-key. Now edit the tare weight by F1 (Edit) key or
weigh by pressing F2 (Drive) key.

Taring can also be done by pressing F6 (WEIGH), F5 (TARE) and F2 (Drive). NOTE ! Taring is not
in use in type approved versions.
1.7 ZEROING
Zeroing is done by lifting the empty shovel up. After zeroing the G symbol (G) on display is darkened. Zeroing must be done each time the scale is switched on and always before loading (See
2.1 page 10).
1.8 LOG MEMORY

Refers to memory location where completed loads are saved. The log contains

2500 most recent loads (printouts) at any time. The log erases the oldest load as

soon as the number of measurements exceeds 2500. Each time the PRINT key is

pressed and a measured weight is printed, the load is also entered in the log.

Loads may also be output only to log memory if, for instance the printer is out of

paper. Printing to log takes place by first pressing PRINT key and then F3 (Log)

or alternatively by choosing printing to log option from print function in the main
menu. Any receipt saved on log can be output again afterwards as follows: Press PRINT, press
F3, choose the desired receipt using arrow keys and by pushing PRINT key until the receipt is
printed. (only in STANDBY MODE)
Log can be viewed by pressing first PRINT key and then F2 (Log).

1.9 MACROS (only for PRO 200-300)

Keys 1-9 can be programmed to perform several keystrokes just by pressing two
number keys. Thereby often repeated functions are made easier and quicker to
perform. Then also an inexperienced user is able to make better use of the scales
properties. Pushing 0-button and the number of the macro e.g. 01 can activate the
macros. (See also chapter 3.2 output of reports). Customer tailored macros are
also possible, please contact Tamtron Oy.

1.10 WORK SHIFT (only for PRO 200-300)

At the start of a day or job you can select work shift from the MAIN MENU whereby the selected
time is recorded in the scales memory. Selected time is utilized in reports. The previous work shift
ends and a new one begins when the work shift is set. Work shift can be edited also afterwards.
By pressing MENU key is accessed MAIN MENU and from there is chosen WORK SHIFT. Press
F2 (OK) to accept the time or edit the time using keyboard and then press F2 (OK).

1.11 DISPLAY LUMINANCE

By selecting the Display luminance function from the MAIN MENU by pressing ENTER, you can
alter the brightness of the backlighting of the display using the DOWN and UP keys. By pressing
the LEFT or RIGHT key, the display colours can be reversed. If you want the changed brightness
and state to be default settings, press F2 (Save). Otherwise, exit by pressing F3 - then the
selected brightness and state are maintained until the scale is switched off.

1.12 COMPANY INFORMATION

It is possible to store company information like name, address, telephone etc. to scale memory.
This information is printed on receipts. It is possible to print up to 9 lines of information. Each line
can consist of 20 characters.
Choose COMPANY INFORMATION from MAIN MENU. Enter editing mode by pressing F1 (Edit)
in which the desired information can be inserted. Exit by pressing F3 (EXIT) key.

1.13 TEXT EDITING

When the scales text data are edited or created (names or contents of memos) the following
functions are available: After each letter or number is keyed in, the cursor automatically moves
to the next letter position. The arrow keys LEFT and RIGHT can also be used for the cursor
movement. The LEFT-key moves you back. F1 can be used to select capital/small letters, F2
activates the replace/insert mode. Number keys 0-8 produce four characters each when pressed
several times. The no. 1 key is an exception since it produces, in addition to the characters
indicated on the keyboard, also: . , ? 1 - _ ( ) : ; & / % 1. The printer starts a new line when _ is
entered. Do not use this character with a card printer. Space is produced by pressing F2 followed
by RIGHT-key. The DOWN-key deletes a character to the right of the cursor. Thus, the entire
text can be deleted by moving the cursor to the beginning and pressing this key in edit mode
repeatedly. The UP-key deletes the character to the left of the cursor. Text editing mode can be
exited by pressing F3 (Exit).

2. BASIC WEIGHING
2.1 START-UP AND ZEROING
When you activate the scale with the current switch (on LEFT-hand side of the housing), the scale
first executes a comprehensive initial test and after that on display is the following information:

PKV XXX-X
100011-20
0504040-001
000005 FDBF56
2.428.005

Model number
Technical setting parameters
Serial number
Event counter and verification number
Program version

In type approved scale one needs to press F1 (Cont.).

Things to consider in connection with starting the scale (in order):

1) The shovel must be empty.
2) The shovel must be down.
3) After start-up the scale automatically reverts to zeroing mode.
4) Check that the shovel is in the backmost position, i.e. the C switch symbol field in the upper

righthand corner of the display is darkened.
5) Perform a zeroing lift passing the measurement point as steadily as possible and hold

the bucket up until the scale gives permission to lower it down. If the scale rejects the

measurement, the boom must be brought down and a new lift performed.
6) Lower the boom down at a steady speed. The scale informs you if the boom was lowered

too fast or slow which requires performing another lift and lowering.
7) When the scale accepts zeroing after lowering of the boom, it reverts automatically to

weighing mode.

Zeroing at an other time than start-up: Enter standby mode (see 1.5 page 8)
by pressing F6 (WEIGH) key and press F4 (ZERO). Perform a zeroing lift with an
empty bucket according to items 4-7. The scale reverts automatically to weighing
mode after zeroing.

2.2 LOADING TO TRUCKS

Actual weighing takes place only when the boom passes the weighing position. The
bucket must be in the extreme back position as the boom is raised past the weighing position
(symbol field C is darkened). As the boom reaches the weighing position symbol fields LO and
HI are darkened. Should the shovel not be in the extreme back position as the weighing position
is passed, weighing does not take place and the scale beeps three times and the comment line
reads Bucket not in pos.. If the speed of lift changes too much in the weighing position, the
result is not accepted. In that case the comment line reads MEASURE AGAIN.

LO-HI sensors

C-sensor

The data related to a load may be selected before loading. Weight indicates the weight of the
material in the bucket and the display colour is
reversed (light numbers on dark background)
when the weighing result is summed to load, i.e.
the bucket is emptied. Sum weight indicates the
weight of loaded material.

Truck and trailer

Changing from truck to trailer and vice versa takes place by pushing F1.

Change only if you wish to specify the weights of the loads of both the trailer and

the truck on receipts. Otherwise, you may load either one. The choice must be

made before loading begins.
10

PKV Pro user manual

DN10181

2.3 WEIGHING

Pick up some of the material to be loaded in the bucket and perform a

measurement by lifting the boom past the weighing position (LO-HI) keeping the
bucket in the extreme back position (symbol field C is darkened). If the
measurement is rejected, try again and lift more steadily.

Drop the material onto the truck bed etc. and the scale sums the shovelful to the load. By pressing
PRINT key the receipt will be printed out.
In case the sum weight should be cleared out, the procedure is as follows:
press F2 (Clear), F1 (Sum), F1 (Sum), and then F1 (Clear).
2.4 WEIGHING OF REST BUCKET / CANCELLATION OF WEIGHING
If the operator has weighed a bucket load, which driver decides not to be loaded on truck (whole
bucket load or partial load) is so called weighing of rest bucket performed.
Bring the bucket down, the scale does so-called downward measurement in order to check whether the bucket is empty. If it is not empty (load >500 kg) the scale displays message Measure
and subtract. Lift the bucket up. Then, the remaining load is subtracted from the load automatically.
If driver has accidentally measured the bucket but loaded it only partially. Then while bringing the
bucket down the scale displays message Measure and subtract. Then lift the bucket up and
load the rest bucket to the truck. The rest bucket is added to the load automatically.
2.5 WEIGHING OF LAST BUCKET / TIP OFF FUNCTION
If you have too much material in the bucket, bring the bucket in the middle of the weighing zone
(LO - HI) and wait a few seconds. The scales goes automatically to static weighing mode, where it
is possible to open the bucket and shake some material out in order to reach optimal amount. On
the display can be read the weight roughly. When right amount is on display bring the bucket again
down and weigh again the material normally by lifting the bucket up. This function works only if the
load has not been summed to the load.
2.6 TARGET LOAD
If one wants to load a specific amount that can be done by setting a target load on display. Procedure is as follows: press in sequence F3-F2-F1-F1, insert target load using editing keys, ENTER, and exit (F3).
The lacking amount of the material from the target load is viewed on the display. Operator is informed if the target load is exceeded.

2.7 SELECTION OF LOAD DATA (MEMO)

Data (like material, customer...) can be attached to a load to specify it. In the case of PRO 100
one piece of data (e.g. material) can be attached. In case of PRO 200-300 up to 8 pcs. of data can
be attached to a load. Information like material, truck, trailer, customer, order number, driver, place
and price can be printed on receipt. Arrow keys are used to move to the spot on the display to
where the data is brought. The comment line displays the heading, i.e. the name of the memo (like
for example material) from which the data is brought.
Then by pressing ENTER is entered the selected memo from which the desired data is searched
and selected by ENTER key.
When in weighing interface, by pressing F2 (Clear), F2 (Receipt) the existing memo content can
be removed from the display. By pressing F2 (Clear), F2 (Receipt) again the memo content can be
retrieved on the display.

2.8 EDIT OF LOAD DATA (MEMO)

Load data can be easily edited or added by going to MAIN MENU with MENU key. Choose from
MAIN MENU MEMOS by pressing ENTER key. Go with arrow keys to the wanted memo e.g.
material and press ENTER key. By pressing F1 two times you reach editing mode. Now you can
edit or add data. Exit by pressing F3 (exit) until you are in weighing mode.

3. PRINTING
3.1 PRINTING OF THE RECEIPT

After loading a receipt is printed by pressing PRINT. Then load data is saved to

log memory. If using the slip printer, the paper must be inserted to the printer

before pressing the PRINT. Then pressing PRINT again prints a receipt. As the

receipts are always saved to log memory those can be printed also later on.
In the main menu you will find PRINT-FUNCTION, from where is chosen the type of printing i.e.
print to log or to print to receipt (standard).
3.2 OUTPUT OF REPORTS (PRO 200-300)
Reports are output usually by using ready-made macros (in models PRO 200-300).
Select first on the display all the data, to which you want to restrict the report. After this activate the
macro by pushing 0 and the number of the macro e.g. 01.
You can check macros available in the main menu. Press MENU key to enter MAIN MENU.
Choose macros using arrow keys. Press ENTERS to view macros available.
Following macros are available as standard:

Also special reports are possible. Contact Tamtron Oy or authorized distributor of Tamtron Oy.

4. LOADING TO STORAGE (CARRYING TO HEAP)

The PKV Pro can also be used to transport to storage, for instance, from crusher
to heap. To activate loadings to storage first enter the main menu by pressing
MENU. Then choose measuring mode. Push ENTER and choose storage as
measurement mode function.

Now the summing takes place immediately when the bucket passes the

measurement position (LO-HI). Then it is possible to lower the bucket and move
to another place (on display text transfer) and raise the shovel again without resumming. The
shovel may then be emptied on any level. Reports like heap1, heap 2, heap 3 can be printed out if
you chose on display heap 1 etc. before weighing.

13

PKV Pro user manual

DN10181

5. PASSWORD
The Password function of the MAIN MENU provides access to the second user level on the
condition that you give the right password. On the second level memo protections may be
activated or deactivated, macros can be edited, the appearance of the receipt may be affected, the
settings affecting the keyboard may be changed, the number of receipts (with tape printer) to be
output can be determined, language may be changed, etc.
NORMAL LEVEL PASSWORD = 0 and lower level password = -1

6. DATA TRANSMISSION
6.1 MEMORY CARD (only PRO 300 models)
Since it is much more difficult to feed data using the scales than a PCs keyboard, and as the
scales data are often needed for further processing by the PC, models PRO-300 M and G are
equipped with data transmission. Model M has a contactless (resistant against dust and vibrations,
specially for vehicle use designed) memory card and model G has a modem linked to an GPRS/
GSM mobile phone. These accessories allow easy data transmission from scale to office PC and
back.

Memory card
Memory card functions can be reached with Memorycard macro i.e. pressing first
0 and then 7 or from MAIN MENU by selecting this macro and then pressing F2
(OK). So you are in MEMORYCARD menu and can select any of the following
functions:

1. Data to card
Sends most recent loading data to memory card and transforms said data into previous data.
The previous data are also moved one step back.
2. Previous data to card
Sends previous (already transferred) weighing data to memory card again.
3. All to card
Sends all weighing data in log memory to memory card.
4. Memo to scale
Sends the data written with PC to the scale. Names of all memos, memo contents, memo
parameters, search settings and company information are transferred. Attention! The transferred
data replaces the data in scales memory, and also all logs are erased.
5. Clear
Erases memory card.
6.2 PKV Pro 300 G
In the G model data transmission is done from the office PC. Thus, the loader operator does
not have to be involved in data transfer. The data can be sent also from the scale to office by
using macro. The delivery includes a versatile PC-software PKV32. In the help file you will find
instructions.
14

PKV Pro user manual

DN10181

6.3 PKV Pro 300i

The scale automatically uploads weighing data to the Internet based Tamtron weighing server while the wheel loader works. As a result, the weighing data is always available on the net in real
time. The user logs into service by using a confidential ID and password that are issued upon
subscription.

7. USER LEVEL
Use the arrow keys to select the Password from the MAIN MENU (press MENU key to get there)
and press ENTER key. Enter then -1 as the password and exit by pressing F3. Now, the scale returns to weighing or standby mode. The MAIN MENU includes SETUP menu.
This menu comprises (control) parameters and shovel
and macro functions that are inaccessible from the normal
user level. The macro function found in the SETUP
menu allows creating, editing and deleting key macros.
The macro function of the MAIN MENU allows only
invoking already defined macros.
You can return to the normal user level by selecting the
Password function (by pressing ENTER) from the main
menu and then pressing F3 until scale is in weighing
mode. (password is 0).

8. CREATING MACROS
By selecting Setup from the MAIN MENU (level -1) and Macro function from the SETUP menu you
can enter the MACRO menu where it is possible to edit existing key macros (Edit), create (Edit)
and delete (Edit or Clear) them as well as run them (Run) for testing. A macro is normally invoked
from normal user level. The running of macros can also be completely blocked (NOT).
A. Editing
When you have selected the editing function from the menu, you may return either to the weighing
or standby mode of the main menu and start macro recording by pressing one of the keys 1-9.
Perform a series of keystrokes and the scale records it. It might be best to practice the series of
keystrokes and one should also remember that the scale repeats it exactly as it is. The macro may
not work properly if, for instance, the cursor is in the wrong place when the macro is being recorded. Thus, you should create your macros so that, for instance, the cursor always returns to its original position before the arrow keys are used. You end recording by pressing the
0 key. Now the macro is ready for use.
B. Clear
Erases all macros.

NOTE!
A single macro may be erased by entering editing mode and by discontinuing editing by
pressing 0.

C. How to create a macro

Below is a list of all the keystrokes required to create a macro that outputs the control sheet for
a day (on the tape printer). In this example the number of the macro is 8 and its name is Control
sheet (see chapter 9).
1. Empty the display by pressing F2 twice (Clear, Receipt).
2. Enter userlevel (3/1) with password -1. (Chapter 7)
3. Enter the MAIN MENU by pressing MENU key use then arrow down key to go to Setup
and select it by pressing ENTER.
4. Select the Macro function from the SETUP menu and press ENTER which brings you to the
MACRO menu. Then move to the Edit function using the down arrow key and select it by
pressing ENTER.

9. CONTROL SHEET
The control sheet is a list of receipts that contains the weighing events in chronological order as
well as the sum total of all receipts. Shovel changes and any possible verification measurements
are also printed to the tape. Note! If a control sheet will be used regularly, it is worthwhile creating
a macro that allows using this function from the normal user level.
Example:
Time selection: week. A control sheet covering this period is produced for all loaded loads, shovel
changes, verification weighings as well as those weighings for which no load data has been selected.
The control sheet looks as follows:

A. Printing of control sheet

Erase the receipt data from the display by pressing F2 twice. Bring to display some data from
those memos whose names you wish to print on the control sheet. If you select more than three
pieces of data, the scale selects the first three. Leave empty the fields of those memos you do not
wish to print on the tape.
Press PRINT and press F1 (Search) and F2 (Report). Next, the scale asks for the period you wish
the query to cover. Provide one of the alternate time periods (date, day, work shift, week, month,
all, hour) and press F2 (OK). You get a formulated query that you can still check. Press PRINT
and select CONTROL SHEET and confirm selection with F2 (OK). After that from CONTROLL
SHEET MENU. Press MENU key (to MAIN MENU), use the arrow keys to move to Printing and
press ENTER (to PRINTING menu). Then select from the CONTROL SHEET menu the data to be
printed in the first column, i.e. No. (receipt number), Time (loading time) or from (loading time
time of next loading). The control sheet is printed subsequently.

10. ERASING THE LOG

The log can be erased when it becomes full of old load data. If it is not erased, new log data
replace oldest data. Erasing is done by pressing F2 (Clear), F1 (Sum), F2 (Log) and F1.
Then the log starts to empty.

11. SUMMING PARAMETERS

A summing parameter is a memory that can be used, for instance, when it is important to learn
quickly how much of a certain material has been loaded, or how much material has been delivered
to a customer, or how much material a certain vehicle has transported. The same data can also
be output to reports, but summing parameters can also be erased separately and print to log or
receipt is not necessary when using them. Their value can also be easily called to display. The
value of a summing parameter is always shown at the load display when arrow keys are used
to go to a piece of memo data for which a summing parameter has been set. Each summing
parameter may contain over 1,000,000,000 kg.

1. Setting of summing parameters

Summing parameters are activated the same way as other parameters: by going to the MEMOS
menu by pressing MENU and ENTER keys and by using the arrow keys to move to the memo
for which a summing parameter is to be set. Then you press F1 (Edit), F2 (Func) and F3 (Cont)
which causes the scale to inquire: Parameters??. You should now press F1 (OK) to have the scale
display the available parameter types and use the arrow keys to select Summing and press then
F2 (OK). At this point the scale requests a name: Name??. It displays a default name (sum:) which
you can accept by pressing F3 or edit first to your liking. Set then other parameters and press F3
to exit.

2. Output of summing parameters

The values of summing parameters may be output all at once or separately. When you press
PRINT followed by F2 (Sum), the summed weight is output to the parameter selected on display.
When you press F1 (All), the values of all those summing parameters to which something has
been summed are output.

3. Erasing summing parameters

The value of the summing parameter of a single piece of data is set to zero by bringing this piece
of data to display and by pressing F2 (Clear), F1 (Sum) twice, and F1 (Clear) again.
The values of all summing parameters of a memory are set to zero by entering the MEMOS
menu by pressing MENU and ENTER keys and moving with the arrow keys to desired memo
and pressing ENTER once more. When the contents of a memo are on display, press F1 (Func),
F2 (Func) and F1 (Param) to enter the parameter edit mode. Press then F2 (Clear), F2 (All) and
acknowledge that by pressing F1 (OK) to set summing parameters to zero. Exit then by pressing
F3.
Note!
Summing parameters do not become zero, even if the entire log memory is erased.

12. SAMPLE REPORTS

In PKV Pro 100 the only report type is sum report.
PKV Pro 200-300 MODELS HAVE BUILT IN MACROS FOR VARIOUS REPORTS.
PKV Pro 100: report is printed by pressing PRINT + F1 (search) + F2 (OK). Sum report can
be printed by day, work shift or week etc. as shown in the menu.

The scale models PKV200-300 are able to output three different basic types of reports: sum,
memo and receipt reports. If a tape printer is connected to the scale it can also output summary
reports and a control sheet. Using the slip printer for these reports might require a long paper.
The period covered by a report can be selected with all report types. The alternatives are: DATE
(today from 00.00 - present), <- 24 h (loads of last 24 hrs), work shift (set starting time to present,
or a freely selectable period), a week (7 days ago at 23.59 to present), a month (loads of ongoing
month), an hour (loads of the last 60 minutes) and all (all loads in scales memory).
In all reports the data selected for the memo data section of the display limit the report to just
these data. If no limitations are desired, the display should be erased first by pressing F2 twice
(Clear, Receipt).
The most simple report type is sum report, which gives the sum of those loads, which are identified
by the data on the display and done during the selected period of time. This report looks like a
normal receipt, only the weight is the sum of loads. If no load data exist on the display, the sum of
all loads made during selected period will be printed. If for example one truck name is brought to
the display, the sum of all loads made to this truck will output etc.
The sum report looks like this (Gravel selected as material on display, one month selected as
time period):

The memo report also shows the memo for which the calculation takes place. The memo report
outputs sums for all the data of the selected memo that have received loads (i.e. an equal number
of receipts is output when a receipt printer is in use). Using the slip printer might require for this
reason also a long paper.

14. MAINTENANCE
No maintenance is needed in normal circumstances. The instrument can be wiped with a soft cloth
dipped in a mild detergent solution. In case of malfunctions, you should contact Tamtron Oy or its
authorized representative.

15. GAUGED SCALE

The verification has to be done after period of 3 years. The scale will warn automatically when the
new verification is necessary. Contact Tamtron Oy!
If invoicing takes place based on weighing result the scale has to be gauged.
Scale has to be calibrated with verified weights.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING GAUGED SCALE:
The verification number in the display and the number in the type plate must be the same,
otherwise the verification of the scale is not valid.
This scale can only be used with a shovel, for weighing loose material that doesnt stick to the
bottom. The scale is not intended for weighing sticking materials, that will cause the shifting of the
zero value of the scale more than 0.5e.
If any changes are done to the lifting arms or to the hydraulic cylinders or to the shovel, a new
calibration must be done.
If the scale is used for weighing additive ingredients of the concrete, the requirements concerning
accuracy of the single scale components must be taken into account. The minimum load then is
70e.
The scale can be used for the weighing of the following materials: sand, gravel, waste, soil filling,
wood chips, turf, demolition waste and additive ingredients used for making construction materials
and comparable.
