Having completed my 4 years of study at the University of New Haven and my
Dietetic Internship within the past year, I have acquired an interest in assisting the
public with their personal goals of staying fit and healthy. I saw this job posted on
Blackboard and took interest because it could help take me down the career path
goal I am currently pursuing.
I received my ServSafe certification in October 2016, and maintained a 3.5 GPA in
the Nutrition & Dietetics curriculum. I speak fluent English and Spanish, as well as
having a basic knowledge of the French language. This would enable me to have
the ability to communicate with a wide variety of clientele. Having worked in a retail
setting over the summer since I was in high school has helped me develop customer
service skills that I can carry over into my new work setting here at Slim & Healthy.
