Chosen Undead: An undead bound by the Gravelord's will, but

granted his individuality and own mental fortitude. Armament ranges
based on the preference of the individual, and can be highly esoteric
or mundane.
Plaguesmith: One of the ties Gholek maintains to his old
fighting style, the Plaguesmith operates as a one-man laboratory.
Inside his body he breeds whole new strains of vicious diseases, and
can expel them by wounding himself or taking fire from the enemy.
Commonly ill-equipped for combat and focussed on their fell sciences,
Plaguesmiths rarely are spotted as heavily-armored, and are psykers
to a man.
TROOPS
Graveborn: Twisted abominations, the Graveborn are the bread and
butter of the Gravelord's army. They are vicious in melee, and while
having little initiative and no concept of self-preservation, they
are incredibly tough and are known to soak inordinate amounts of fire
before succumbing to death for a short while, until Gholek raises
them once more.
Undead Footmen: While the Graveborn form the assault majority of
the Gravelord's army, the Footmen engage the enemy at medium to short
ranges, their ill-aimed shots made up for with fully-automatic fire
and horrifying plague weaponry. Useful in large numbers, and easy to
control, they crush anything left behind by the Graveborn.
ELITES
Riders of Death: Spectral riders, formed heavily by the souls of
those murdered by Gholek himself, these elite formations slam into
the flanks of the enemy long before any charge by the primary force.
Howling eerily and wailing as a mourning family member, their
ferocity is matched with their uncanny ability to sow discord in the
forces they engage. However, the Riders are inevitably killed as they
are viewed as utterly expendable, and rarely live long enough to see
even the end of the battle let alone another one.
Graveguard: Riders modelled after the Attillan Rough Riders, the
Graveguard form the core of Gholek's cavalry force, slamming directly
into the center of any enemy formation with hard-hitting force and
unnatural toughness. Those who live through the initial charge
usually fall thanks to the consummate fighters that the Graveguard
make, and even if they live through that, the creeping death will
inevitably seep into them and claim them later.
Graveknights: Graveknights, born from the corpses of the Chosen
Undead, appear as smaller versions of the Gravelord himself. Often
raised as bodyguards to him or his particularly favored, the
Graveknights are even more heavily-armored than the Graveguard and
hit doubly as viciously, wrecking even the most veteran and staunch
of defenders in one or two charges.

Reaper: Reports of the Reaper are inconclusive, as none have

lived to describe it. However, rumor describes a pale, thin woman who
weeps blood wielding a scythe far too large for any mortal to carry.
With every life taken, her sweeps become more lethal, her movement
even more vigorous, and her body even more blood-soaked until her
pale skin is red from gore. She cannot be stopped until the battle is
ended, and she cannot be killed as of any known means.
HEAVY SUPPORT
Undead Monstrosity: Birthed from the same mold as the Graveborn,
only on a much grander scale. Undead Monstrosities can range from the
size of a Novvy Vostroyan car to the equal of a Tau XV104 Riptide.
They form the hard center of a Graveborn force, lumbering into
assault and bludgeoning any they encounter to death quickly and
mercilessly.
Plage Hulk: Similar in form to the ubiquitous Defiler, the
Plague Hulk instead mounts a Pus Cannon and Virus Blade, ripping into
enemies with the glee only the Plaguebearer or even Great Unclean One
within can express.
Deathcrawler: The mobile artillery platform of the Gravelord's
army, this warmachine physically resembles a giant centipede covered
in corroding plates. From it's back rise four cannons, each the
equivalent to an Imperial Earthshaker or Medusa depending on the
situation. Crewed by Undead left with their faculties intact, these
horrors take glee in rendering the enemy a scorched crater.
Gravecarrier: Sickening lumps of flesh with legs, these hideous
and pitiful creatures are formed of the corpses of child-rearing age
women raised from their resting place. Deformed into wailing
monstrosities, these Gravecarriers create and birth fresh Graveborn
into the field, providing an instant and mobile source of
reinforcements.
Hellknight: Formed from the corpses of Ymir's giants, the
Hellknight is a being that lives only for war. Animated with only the
sense of hatred and lust for battle left, the Hellknight is often the
very first of Gholek's cavalry that connect with the enemy, and is
almost always killed by the end of the battle. However, the
Hellknight is always found surrounded with the corpses of the enemy
layered three or four deep.
Black Riders: The greatest of the Chosen Undead that have
managed to fail the Gravelord are rendered into the Black Riders.
Heavily-armored, equipped with the greatest of the Gravelord's
armament, and stitched to their mounts, these damned souls form up
behind the Graveknights and the Graveguard and act as a piercing
core. Where lesser cavalry will become stuck in and bogged down in
the fray, the Black Riders penetrate deeper into the enemy force,
slaughtering all who oppose them.

FAST ATTACK
Blight Drone: Though Gholek's armies are primarily focussed on
melee, he is not stupid and realizes the need for ranged combat. The
Blight Drones fulfill that niche, forming a cadre of cheap, small
units that can drop ordnance on foes, provide covering and
suppressing fire, and with some modifications, proved anti-air
defence.
Desecrator: A skeletal being, this is the chief extension of the
Gravelord's will. By leading a primary force, these smaller riders
can raise the dead ahead of the main army, sowing discord and morale
damage to defenders and enemies. Rather poor in a fight, these units
function to keep the binding to Gholek's will strong, ensuring that
even should troops fall, they will not stay down long.
