INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Note:
1. The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee through the fee challan available for
download after submission of the application as per the notification. The fee as
indicated in the challan should be paid only in State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) in any of
their branches in India on or before 25.06.2010. Please visit http://www.sbhyd.com to
check the SBH Branches Details.

2. Please read the respective detailed Notification available on the website


careers.apgenco.gov.in before filling the online application.

3. FEE

i) Every applicant must pay Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred and Fifty Only)
towards Application Registration Fee.
ii) Applicants under General category must also pay RS.350/-(Three
Hundred and Fifty ONLY) towards Examination Fee. (Applicants
belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH belonging to Andhra Pradesh need
not pay examination fee).
Note: Please go through the detailed notification thoroughly before filling the online
application.

How to access online application form?

Please Enter the website address or http://www.apgenco.com http://www.apgenco.gov.in and check


for careers section or directly go to http://careers.apgenco.com in Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or
later) or Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0 or later) browsers. Please ensure that only one application is
submitted at a time in one browser window/tab otherwise your application may not be submitted
correctly. The following screen appears By clicking on the respective Notification link, Applicants can
see the following screen.

On clicking View Notification, applicants can view the notification for details of the recruitment,
Guide lines, Method of recruitment, exam syllabus etc.
On clicking How to apply, applicants can view the user guide which gives the guidance for filling the
Online Application Form.
On clicking Apply Online, applicants can enter the details in the Online application form and submit
the application online.
On clicking Application Reprint, applicants can view and print the already submitted application.
On clicking Check Application Status, applicants can see the status of their application, i.e.,
accepted/under processing/rejected with reasons.

On clicking Apply Online, the following screen appears for the applicants to proceed to fill the online
application.

1. Paste the Photo on any white paper as per the above required dimensions. Sign in the Space
provided for signature. Ensure that the signature is within the box.
2. Scan the photograph and signature. Please do not scan the entire page.
3. The entire image (of size 3.5 cm by 6.0 cm) consisting of the photo along with the signature is
required to be scanned and stored in *.jpg format on the local machine.
4. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more that 50KB otherwise the photo will be
rejected while uploading.
5. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the
dpi resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning and ensure the file size not
more than 50KB.
6. The applicant has to sign in full in the box provided. Since the signature is proof of identity, it
must be genuine and in full; initials are not sufficient. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS is not
permitted.
7. The applicant should only sign and no other persons signature is valid.
8. The signature will be used to print on the Hall Ticket and wherever necessary. If the
applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the
signature on the Hall Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.
9. Photo Scanning Details:
Scanned image should have the following specifications:
• Size of the file < 50 KB
• Dpi setting = 200 dpi
• True Colour
The applicant has to upload his/her Photo with Signature in the prescribed format by clicking on the
browse button at the time of filling in the application form.

The uploaded photograph appears as displayed in the application. If the applicant doesn't
satisfy with the quality of photo he/she can click on CLICK HERE TO CHANGE PHOTOGRAPH
WITH SIGNATURE to upload best quality photograph by repeating the above described procedure
starting from the scanning of photograph with signature. After successfully uploading the photo, the
applicant shall enter the security code and click on continue.

Personal Details

All the details are to be ensured before filling, and are to be filled in the order they appear.

Enter name/surname. Enter Father's/ Husband's Name. Avoid

dots or hyphen with your initials. Instead give space between initials. Gender can be

clicked by selecting Male or Female box.

Select YES or NO for the field Do You Belong to AP.

Select the Social category status from the list.

Select Physically Challenged status from drop down list. If PH status is Yes (Less than 40% / 40%

or more), please select YES or NO for the field studied in any special school.

Select Date of Birth from drop down list provided.

Type your full correct Address in the boxes provided for further correspondence.

Select State from the given list.

Enter pin code, E-mail ID. Please ensure that the furnished E-mail ID is correct, as the E-mail

ID will be used for sending information on status of the Application, Hall ticket, Bank Challan or any

other important correspondence. If the Mail sent is not seen by the Applicant, please check in the

Junk/Spam mails.

The applicant should enter the identification marks in the space provided. The sample screen is as
shown below:

The applicant should select the Degree-Branch from the list.

If the degree processed by the applicant is not available in the list, select Equivalent. In this case,
the applicant shall enter the details of equivalent Degree in the space provided.

NOTE: Applicants who are applying for CHEMIST POST should select the Division as detailed below:

Continue Button will take to the page 3 of 3 of Application form.
Reset Button will clear all the filled in details.

Details for Zone Identification:

PH applicants belonging to AP & studied in special school shall select their parents native district.

All others shall give their education details as below.

For Regular Study: Enter School , Mandal & District Fields only
For Private Study : Enter Residence , Mandal , District Fields only

Candidate Zone Preference Details:

The Applicants can give their order of preference for Zone Allotment by selecting YES duly entering
the Zone codes. For Zone Code details please refer Clause No 8 (for AEs/Chemists), Clause No 9 (for
JAOs) in the Detailed Notification.

FEE DETAILS:

Please refer Clause 6 of detailed notification.

Declaration Details:
The Applicant should accept the declaration by ticking in I Accept the above Declaration as follows to
preview the filled application:

By clicking the Preview Button below the declaration the applicant can view the filled in particulars as
below. By clicking Reset Button, the data in all the fields will be cleared.

In Preview mode:

By clicking Change Photograph with Signature at the right side below photograph, the applicant can
change the Photograph duly following the instructions at Page 1 of 3.

The applicant can edit the particulars filled by clicking the Edit Application Button as shown above.

By clicking Edit Application Button the following Window will pop up.

On clicking OK Button the following window will appear.

Here the applicant can edit the filled in data of page 2 duly following the instructions at page 2 of 3.

By clicking continue button the applicant can edit the page 3 duly following the instructions at page 3
of 3 which is as follows:

By accepting the declaration the applicant can preview the edited application. By clicking submit

application Button as in page 8 of user guide the applicant can submit the application duly entering

the valid Security code in the space provided. Soon after submission of the application, the applicant

will receive E-mail to their E-mail ID informing the following. If the Mail sent is not seen by the

Applicant, please check in the Junk/Spam mails.

On submitting the Application, the Applicant can take print out of the submitted application form by
clicking Print Application Button and Print out of challan by clicking Print Challan Button which is as
follows:

Application Printing: It is advised that on successful submission a print out of the filled in
application can be taken and preserved for further use.

Challan Printing and Payment of Fee: The Applicant is also advised to take the print out of the
challan format and pay the fee as mentioned in the challan at any branch of SBH only through out
India duly submitting the challan at the Bank. For SBH branches visit http://www.sbhyd.com. The
format of the challan is as shown below. The Commission Charges mentioned in the challan are not

applicable if the applicant pay the FEE in SBH, Gunfoudry , Hyderabad Branch. The copy of the challan
after payment should be preserved as proof of payment of FEE.
