What is Buoyancy?

explainedbythescientificprinciplecalledbuoyancy.

Buoyancyistheupwardforcethatanobjectfeelsfromthewaterandwhencomparedtotheweight
oftheobject,itiswhatmakesanobjectfloat,sink,orremainneutrallybuoyantinthewater.

Whenanobjectfloats,theupwardbuoyantforceexertedbythewaterisgreaterthanthedownward
forceoftheweightoftheobject.Youcanalsounderstandthisconceptwithnumbers.Ifanobjects
densityislessthanwatersdensity(1g/cm),itwillfloat.

Whenanobjectsinks,theweightoftheobjectisgreaterthantheupwardbuoyantforceexertedby
