Problem: Unemployment in INDIA
-Unemployment refers to the state of being unemployed or not
having a job. A person is said to be unemployed if he or she is
willing to do a job but unable to find it. What are the reasons
that after so much planning our country is lacking in tackling
this problem.
The main reasons behind unemployment in our country are
population growth, corruption, recessions, inflation,
deterioration in industry and business, etc. The effects of
unemployment are slow economic growth, increase in crimes,
poverty, stress, inequalities, etc.
Questions:
-What are the causes of unemployment in our country? What
are the effects of it? What can we do to decrease
unemployment?
Purpose:
-Unemployment is the biggest socioeconomic problem of our
country. Because of unemployment mostly youngsters are
either depressed or diverted towards bad habits. In todays
world of competition it is not an easy task to find a job. Thats
why we should know how to handle it and how to overcome
from it.
Information:
-According to labour ministrys report 33% of young graduates
are unemployed. Unemployment is the biggest reason behind
poor economic condition of our country. Our education system
is prepairing our youth mostly for white collared jobs. Due to
lack of skills & experience even many degree holders are
unemployed.
Assumptions:
-It is assumed that because of joblessness people are diverted
to crime, drug or alcohol addiction, or they may commit suicide.
It is assumed that not all unemployed persons are educated.

Implications:
-If unemployment is removed then some of the implications are
that economic growth of the country will increase, crime rate
will decrease. Government will have more money to invest on
industries as well as for the betterment of living standards .Our
country will be a better place to live.
Concepts:
-Unemployment is affecting our society adversely. For finding
solutions we should first look on the causes of it. For example:
present education system is a cause of unemployment &
vocational education system can be a solution.
Point of view:
-In my point of view if the problem of unemployment is solved
then 60% of our countrys problems will automatically be
removed.
Solutions:
-Government support is required for struggling industries to
save jobs. Steps are required for the betterment of education
standards in rural areas. Unemployed educated people can
educate the people of their vicinity. Better technology in
agriculture is required. Vocationally oriented education system
is required. Migration from rural to urban areas should be
prevented by creating jobs in rural areas. Controls for
population increase are required.
