For any approach labelled as RNV on MCDU:
VERIFY on the approach chart and on the
MCDU that the MAP is at the runway threshold.
On the MCDU F-PLN page, if the last waypoint
of the active F-PLN, displayed in green, is
identified as a runway (e.g. LSZH14), it means
that the runway threshold is the MAP.

Use of the vertical managed guidance mode (FINAL APP)
is possible

Note: To avoid premature autopilot disconnection for QNH referenced NPAs, if FINAL APP
mode is used, enter an MDH/DH (height) in the MDH field of the MCDU.
The AP will disconnect and the FD will revert to HDG-V/S or TRK-FPA mode at an
altitude (equal to MDH (DH) + airport elevation - 50 ft), that corresponds to MDA(DA) 50 ft. The autocallout triggering and the altitude scale turn into amber will not occur or
will occur too late, depending on the airfield elevation (Refer to FCOM PRO-SUP-34 H
QNH use for TO/APPR/LDG on QFE/QNH pin programmed aircraft).

CAUTION

For QNH referenced NPAs if FINAL APP mode is used the autocallout triggering
and the altitude scale turn into amber will not occur or will occur too late,
depending on the airfield elevation. PNF should be ready to announce
callouts HUNDRED ABOVE and MINIMUM.
