Comparativo
1. ADJETIVOS COMPARATIVOS
Son adjetivos que modificamos levemente para hacer una comparacin, es
decir, para usarlos dentro de una oracin comparativa. Cuando queremos
comparar un objeto, lugar o persona, con otra cosa usamos adjetivos
comparativos.
COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES: They are adjectives that modify it slightly to make a
comparison, ie for use in a comparative sentence. When we compare an object,
place or person, otherwise use comparative adjectives.
REGLAS
This job is closer than the other one. (Este trabajo es ms cerca que el
otro.)
Pineapple juice is sweeter than apple juice. (El jugo de pia es ms dulce
que el de manzana.)
The first book is less interesting than the second one. (El primer libro es
menos interesante que el segundo.)
These french fries are less salty than those. (Estas papas a la francesa
estn menos saladas que aquellas.)

2. ADJETIVOS SUPERLATIVOS
Se usan los superlativos para indicar un extremo en un grupo de cosas.

Superlatives are used to indicate an end to a group of things.
REGLAS
1. Aadimos iest si una palabra termina con una consonante seguida por y.
Cambiamos la y por i y luego agregamos est.
1. We added "iest" If a word ends with a consonant followed by "and". We
change the "y" to "i" and then add "est".
2. Aadimos doble consonante + est si una palabra termina con una
consonante, una vocal, y luego otra consonante y la slaba fuerte es la ltima.
2. Add double consonant + "is" if a word ends with a consonant, a vowel, then
another consonant and the last syllable is strong.
3. Aadimos most a palabras largas, es decir, si la palabra es de dos slabas
o ms y no termina con y.

3. ADJETIVOS DE IGUALDAD
Sirve para hacer una comparacin y decir que dos cosas son iguales en algo.
EQUAL ADJECTIVES
Used to do a comparison and say that two things are equal on something.
REGLAS
1. Para comparar adjetivos en oraciones afirmativas utilizamos la estructura:

4. ADJETIVOS POSESIVOS
possessive adjectives
Those accompanying a noun. Indicate who owns the noun. In Spanish 'mi' is used, 'your',
etc. to denote possession. Possessive adjectives in English are:
My mi
Your (singular) tu, su
His su (de l)
Her su (de ella)
Its su (de eso)
Our nuestro/a
Your (plural) su (tambin vuestro/a para los Espaoles)
Their su (de ellos/ellas)
REGLAS
1. La regla general para formar el posesivo de un sustantivo es aadir un
apstrofe + s al final del sustantivo
1. The general rule for forming the possessive of a noun is to add an
apostrophe + 's' at the end of the noun
2. Si el sustantivo termina en s (por ejemplo si est en plural), slo se aade
el apstrofe al final del sustantivo
2. If the noun ends in 's' (for example if it is plural), only the apostrophe is
added at the end of the noun
