The teacher asks students to open their books at pg. 78 and read ex 6. They must read the
clues and find out the rooms and parts of the house in the picture. Students work in pairs and
solve the task. T monitors the activity and then asks a pair or two to read their answers.

The teacher gives the students worksheet 1. They are asked to match the words with the
images and write the correct number in the circles. After they solve the exercise, the students
come to write the sentences on the blackboard. In the second exercise they have to make
sentences with there is/ there are using the words given on the worksheet. Students comply
and, at the end of the exercise, they come to the blackboard to write the answers.

have to identify the items from Marys room and make sentences with have got. Then they
are asked to solve exercise 2, in which they are asked to tick the things they usually find in
each room. In exercise 3, they are asked to complete the sentences with one of the given
words. The students comply and begin to work in pairs. At the end of the exercises, they come
to the blackboard to write the answers.
